"2nd time I’ve been there in 5 years and most of it was closed for new exhibits—again. Yet they sure won’t close the big US History of Slavery/Underground railroad. Way to focus on the nations only real shameful past."

"The underground railroad is fascinating to learn about meeting one of the descents of the George Washington Carter family was interesting and amazing experience. The African American history displayed and told here is absolutely beautiful also i wish there was more displayed but hopefully in the future they do display more African American history in this museum. But overall such a great experience here"

"If you would like to learn more about slavery and the underground railroad in New Albany this is the place to go. They have an hour movie about slavery. Old shackles, etc.. Civil War memorabilia. Also, they have interesting art and activities to do with children. The building itself is a sight to see and check out the huge tree in the front."
