"I went in there today to get two things I stood there at the register for 15 mins yelling hello nobody came for another 5 mins. The manager finally came up there after she was in the back room. I am done coming in this store. It's always dirty and never stocked shelves. Anybody can just walk out with whatever they want because there is nobody ever at the counter to check out."
"They run out of sale products quite quickly, but that shows the manager isn't wasting company money by over ordering. Staff is unbeatable. Store is clean, safe, and as a woman, I feel perfectly fine coming and going from this store alone. That's rare for me."
"You know what would be awesome...a DG that sold liquor AND fresh fruit. A DG that sold cold coffee creamer, name brand at that would be great, also. The stuff for spring time is good tho, I got a few pot holders and really pretty plates and some great home decor. Decent and convenient store but I always end up spending like $80 here for some reason. (All decor including hanging plant basket purchased at this location)"
"I'm only giving 1 star because it won't let me give 0. This place needs entirely new management and employees. I used to frequent this particular store (Charlestown Rd) on almost a daily basis before it came under the current GM and employees. It was nice and had a very friendly atmosphere then. Now it's ran by a horribly rude GM (Albert) and equally rude employees! One said employee (Ed) likes to follow customers around the store as they're shopping. At my last visit he actually walked passed me then proceeded to ask if he could look inside my purse! Unacceptable! Not to mention, I work in loss prevention myself and what he did is not only against policy, it's also illegal. I like dollar General. I never have an issue at any other store. Just this one. I do not recommend it. The only thing I recommend is that every single employee there be fired and hire people who know how to work in customer service. Disgusting people."
