"Called to have them send out a technician to hook up a work computer for me. I was told it would be $150. I don't mind paying that but if he's not able hook this computer up, then I should only have to pay for a service call not the same amount as if he had completed the job. and they wanted the money up front before they would send him out."
"Samsung warranty required I go to Best Buy for the issue with my phone. An appointment was scheduled and confirmed for Alamo Ranch location. I arrived at my appointment just to be told they couldn't help me. I drove 12 miles for nothing! They should have notified me beforehand."
"Wish I could give zero stars. After three years of not going to Best Buy in Alamo Ranch, I thought I would give it another chance. (Three years ago, staff and management were consistently rude and dismissive.). I went the other day to purchase an iPad. I couldn’t find anyone to help me. I did see a store rep talking to another store rep in the electronics area. I approached them. After a few seconds of awkwardly standing in front of them, one asked if he could help me with anything. I told him yes and that I was needing some assistance. He said absolutely nothing and turned and continued talking to the other store rep. I walked away, and the same rep walked behind me and asked what I was needing help with. I told him I was needing to purchase an iPad but that I would get it somewhere else. Unbelievable! Things haven’t changed here. There are different reps, but the one thing that is the same is management. By the way, I went home and purchased the same iPad for $50 cheaper on Amazon. It got to my home the very next morning before my kids left for school. Will be avoiding the Alamo Ranch Best Buy indefinitely."
