Ashford Park Apartments

"These people really out here trying to charge 1000+ for a 1 bedroom apartment. I deliver for doordash. This place is disgusting. Roaches in the common area; junk and broken fridges in the lobby bathrooms, horribly stained carpets in the common areas, riff raff lurching throughout the whole night, the whole place smells like weed. Horrible. Well, I took pictures tonight and I will be contacting the BBB plus the State and County housing authorities. People who pay 1000+ a month should not live in these conditions. Yet, on your Facebook page you want to tout around that you are one of the best places to work. Yeah, I bet! Y'all have all this rent money but make no repairs. Greed ..... Well, here's the pictures. It's a long fall down 1: dead roaches in the elevator ceiling 2: broke fridge in bathroom, has been there since the beginning of last year 3: gross stains 4: blood in the stairwells????!!!!! Idk, that's what it looked like. Not sting for a fact 5: your exit doors are always locked as well as your stairwells. This is illegal towards your tenants"

"This place is infested with fleas and bed bugs. Started getting bit the minute I moved in and stopped getting bit when I moved out. The management will make you sign a form saying you are responsible for any bugs. This is fraud because they do not disclose that there is an infestation of blood sucking insects in their buildings when you move in. They think they are being smart by deceiving you when you move in and sign a waiver for the bugs but they are actually providing evidence of an intent to deceive and commit fraud. Withholding material facts is fraud and renders the lease unenforceable."

"I am not one to leave reviews but enough is enough. The office has been decreasing their available hours the moment I moved here. How do you open at 10am and close at 5pm? Who is not a 9-5 worker available during those times. On Wednesdays they allegedly open at 1 and close at 5. Tell me why I decided to pick up a package there at 1pm on my lunch break last Wednesday just to realize the office was closed. I waited 25mins past 1 before the whole office decided to show up with Chick-fila in their hands. Apparently their lunch break is at the same time they opened? Bad came to worst when I realized my package was actually STOLEN. I asked the office manager about it and she said it is an honor system and if people decide to steal they are free to do so. I asked to see camera footage and apparently they do not have any functioning cameras. DO NOT MOVE HERE. Everyone there is terrible from management to the maintenance man."

"I lived at Ashford for 5 years. First 3 years were not that bad. But the last 2 were horrible. Went through several managers and office never got caught up from one leaving to the next!! Next thing I know, Herman kittles owns Cannaberry Apts. And they are trying to find a way to get people on housing out of there and bringing them to Ashford. Then not long after that. The new manager ( Vicky) who is the rudest person I've ever encountered in my life. Starts weeding out people at Ashford. On Housing, or people of color, elderly..etc. I had to have a major surgery in Indianapolis and the office was told about it several times before the surgery.. when I get out of the hospital 2 weeks later, I was told they couldn't find me so they had to file for an eviction.. No 30 day notice, No 10 day notice, No 3 day Notice... No Notification to Columbus Housing. Nothing. Still got evicted.. I'm not done with this. Herman Kittles, you will be hearing from me or my Attorney!!!"

"Jason (the property maintenance man) is a disrespectful, arrogant and deceitful human being. Never in my life, I was ever called a liar and this man looked at me straight in the eyes and tried to gaslight me about what was happening in my household. Our AC was broken for the whole summer and management did nothing to fix it. Until, Jason came around and said that it was our fault it was not working. Apparently a Caribbean household with a stern father figure will have their AC blasting at 58 ever. Jason said "you could die on this hill if you want to but I am presenting facts". What are these facts Jason? You know defamation of character could get you in a court of law, right? If there is anything I will never lack is integrity and you should be ashamed of yourself for being the biggest gaslighter. Vicky should get someone with better manners on her team because I know she is a poised and respectful woman. Jason, please learn to bite your tongue twice before you spew the most disgusting vile things. Be a better human. Sincerely, You know who I am Jason"
