"Canterbury apartments leasing office never responds on for anything. most of time there leasing office is closed and they never pick up the call. It’s been over 2months leaving the apartment, security deposit has not refunded on timely manner. Calling corporate and sent many emails but no one is responding. it’s frustrating!!!!"

"I wouldn't recommend moving to live here unless you don't mind the trash never being collected, botched maintenance, and being scammed all around. The office here seems to rarely keep a manager and the finances lady had not a single clue as to what she was doing. My partner and I lived there for eleven months and if rent wasn't paid by the 1st (despite the 5 day grace period) then we would wake to find a notice on our door, voiding our lease and threatening to evict us if we didn't turn our keys or pay rent straight away. Not everyone is paid right on the first. Also, if I agree to pay $788 a month then I better never find a notice demanding $900+. We moved out as soon as we found out that we had been approved for a cheaper apartment and even then paid rent up until we had turned in our keys. They were well aware that we were moving instead of renewing our lease too, as we had specifically been in the office to sign papers agreeing to be out by the third of the following month. Three months into being gone, we received a phone call from Rent Recovery Solutions asking for $2,700+ since we had "vacated our apartment at Canterbury House Apartments." Since when? We're actively fighting to dispute this, but when we asked them for a copy of the paper we signed to leave, the lady informed us that the previous people in the office had been fired and that she would have to go through several boxes to find our documents. She wasn't able to find them and instead sent us a paper showing that rent was paid. We sent that in and now have to deal with the scam of Rent Recovery Solutions thanks to a couple of scam artists in the office that don't even work there anymore."

"Would NOT recommend!! Lived there for over a year! All my maintenance orders were marked “completed” and I never once had any maintenance come into my apartment the entire time! There was black mold under the sink, which was never fixed. Kitchen fridge was burning the wall never fixed!! I even let the “NEW” property manager aware of this and STILL WAS not fixed!! The entire year I lived there the complex has constantly changed maintenance an management and yet everything stays the SAME! Definitely do NOT recommend!!"

"Incredibly terrible. We’ve been here for 6 months and not once had any of our maintenance requests been fixed. Our air conditioning has been out for 3 weeks with no assistance from management and we are on the verge of reaching out to news rooms and filing a lawsuit against them. We have a 6 month old son and this is extremely unsafe for him and highly unacceptable! Edit: we are now nearing the end of staying here and just wanted to say nothing has gotten better! Our air conditioner has gone out again for the 3rd time. We’re totaling around 2.5 months this year without air. About 6+ months without an oven and they just don’t seem to care! I’m very thankful we’re nearing the end of having to live here. I do not recommend if you do have kids. Too many issues and definitely not anything near worth the price you pay. Especially having heard they are getting rid of section 8 and housing assistance. That goes to show how much they value the people over their own greed!"

"While I cannot give a review based off of living in the apartments, I would like to say that I met with a few staff members about leaving information behind to provide the tenants about a program I work for. The front office staff members were pleasant, and Dejona (I think I’m spelling that right) was welcoming and very attentive to the conversation we had. Exceptional customer service that deserves attention."
