"All of the one star reviews are the absolute truth. Will never purchase from this scam of a company again. Purchased insurance for 182 days from them, had to visit a dermatologist for a lump that appeared on a leg. Total cost of the two visits and medicines were less that $100 but they have prevaricated for nearly 4 months and give the same old excuses when I ask about the claim. They are an absolute waste of time and money- just a pure unadulterated scam."
"Acute onset of pre-existing conditions does not cover majority of pre existing conditions. DO NOT purchase anything from this company. The company covered $0 out of $4600 for an emergency visit for my father. His BP was >200/100 yet its not acute onset!"
"Terrible service, not worth the money at all. I got this for my mother in law while she was visiting the US from China. They make it very difficult to get a claim in let alone didn't even pay anything. They'll make sure to having you jumping through hoops, since being intentionally difficult is a great business model as an insurance company. Basically I just gave them money for a premium and got nothing from it. This organization is a scam."
"Please don't even consider this scam of a company. If you have any medical emergency, the claim will be denied via a constant revolving door of reasons. Usually they land on "pre-existing condition", even if it is clearly not related. Purchased a plan for my mother in law when she was visiting from China. She developed a health problem, was treated, then the problem persisted to the point that she needed to return to China for surgery. World Trips has rejected all claims including medical, as well as all trip interruption expenses."
"This should call WorstTravel Insurance because it was the worst experience with insurance I have ever had! They spent almost 8 months analyzing my mother's case and then they said they won't cover anything because their examiners which should know better than the doctors that saw my mother believed her condition was pre existing! I don't recommend this plan to anyone!"
