"Somehow my previous review was deleted, so here it is again. They WAY over charge, which wasn’t the case a few years back but seems to be the new normal. The last 3 times I took my vehicle here the quote was double or more than what other shops ended up doing the work for. The final straw was a locked up brake rotor - they wanted $1200 to redo my brakes another shop did it for $600. Absolutely not worth it take your business elsewhere."

"I was having issues with my radio screen and lights flickering in my Cruze. I knew it was the alternator and that it needed replaced before I got there. They got me in right away and had my car a day and it was fixed. They replaced my alternator and did an inspection and told me of other things that needed repaired in the future. They even mentioned that the part was under warranty that was replaced so that made me feel comfortable. As a person who is hard to gain trust for, this group won my trust and future business. They were extremely helpful and nice, and they made sure I was taken care of. Thank you Mears!"

"Mears was great today, Dec. 28. They replaced my battery for $191 plus $16 to rotate my tires and $4 for an Uber lift. It was good customer service and the prices seem reasonable. However, the tow truck company Mears recommended, Paddack, which my husband called to tow my car to Mears, I feel took advantage of me. First they called and told me I needed to meet him with the key because it was too tight a squeeze at Mears and would need to be able to turn the steering wheel so I had to pay for an Uber to meet him with the key. The car battery didn't have enough power to turn on to allow for him to shift to neutral so he jump started the dead battery to be able to do that. Once he did that I said, well you can just charge me for the jump start and I can just drive it to Mears literally 2-3 minutes down the road on the same street from where the car was and he said he still had to tow it because that's what he was called out for. What happened was that towing costs more than jump-starts and he wanted to charge more for a service we didn't need. Next time I have a dead battery, I'll be using jumper cables to jump start it myself and either having Autozone recharge the battery or just buying another battery at AutoZone and installing it myself. The tow truck company left a very bad taste for the whole experience."

"Low quality work for a high cost. I had recommended repairs completed after an inspection . The CV axle had to be redone which was covered under the warranty after their initial repair 2 months later.it appears it caused additional damage to my vehicle which I had to fix. Mears qouted my at $4k for almost 15 hours of work. A second opinion was much more reasonable with the car driving like it did when I bought it. The first repair by mears was obviously done incorrectly at my expense and safety"

"I took my vehicle to m Mears to have it checked out before I left on a trip. They called me and told me everything looked great. After I picked it up, the air conditioning wouldn't work… there is never been an issue with it before. I feel like if they had given it a thorough check up they would have noticed this and called me saying there was an issue. Super disappointed..I will not return."
