Big Eyed Fish Express

"Well first off i called in ahead of time and still ended up waiting over 30 minutes for my food while two WALK INS after me got their food first. I ordered the chicken and fish dinner and the fish and shrimp dinner and mozzarella sticks. The fish is so thin it looks like a JOKE. The shrimp is decent. Baked beans and hush puppies are decent. Mozzarella sticks cold, marinara sauce tastes and smells strongly of vinegar. Size of the sides does not reflect the over 3$ price. Overall very dissapointed."

"Unbelievable! We watched the cashier try and steal a customer’s money by giving herself a 500 tip! The owner did not even think it was a big deal! When they got upset as anyone would they called the police. And still refused to give back their money. Be very wary of this place."

"We ordered Big Eyed Fish Express to go and called in our order ahead of time. My husband went in to pick it up and pay for it and he comes out with no food and a receipt showing the teenaged girl at the cash register charged us an extra $500. As anyone would be, he was upset and they called the owner in to remedy the situation since the money was not returned to our account and he "lives right around the corner." The owner was upset with my husband's reaction and called the cops on him. Having not done anything wrong, the cops came to mediate the situation and understood why my husband would be upset. The owner talked to the credit company that they used to charge my account and assured him it was reversed on his end. Seeing how it is Saturday, instead of just giving me cash back, I now have to wait until Monday for the money to clear as they accused me of just calling my bank to cancel the money reversal after I get the cash in hand insinuating that I'm a common criminal which is uncalled for. Dine at your own risk....and if you do, check your receipts!!"

"Fish dies fast when sitting in a holding tray, this is a item that should be cooked to order. I like this place but I hate when my fish isn't freshly fried. Of all meats you should never put a hold on fish, And than have a person waiting on their food for 20 min, giving the impression that the fish is been fried. Next time you order a fish dinner to go look at the fish as soon as they give it to you, it look like it's been holding for atleast 45min to a hour."

"First time coming here and ordered the special, Blue Gill platter. Ordered the fish lightly breaded, tried the hush puppies and never go wrong with green beans! The Blue Gill was cooked to perfection. Seasoned lovely and totally enjoyed. I can't wait to go back. I can't believe I haven't before now. Wonderful customer service too!!"
