"I usually get the yummy Steak Tacos, but today I tried the Tamales and they were delicious! They had more meat in them than other places I've been to. I ordered four and could barely eat two! Now I have lunch for tomorrow! Thank you Lola and staff!"

"Had my first trip to Lola’s this week, but it won’t be my last! My horchata, pupusa, and empanada were all delicious. My husband also loved his daily special meal. The care that is put into every made from scratch dish is reflected in the whole restaurant! Great service and great environment. You really cannot beat fresh tortillas. Lola’s is in our top 5 favorite Fort Wayne restaurants. It is a fantastic value for the quality of food and service. If you’re flying in or out of Fort Wayne, this would be a perfect stop!"

"I called ahead of time, after doing considerable searching beforehand. ordering what I initially wanted and it really only got better once i got there. The first, and Most Important point to make is that all of the food is made fresh. Nothing from cans. And you'll taste it. It is Authentic, incredibly so. And while I was there, in the drive through, i was given samples of other menu items, and I knew then that it was going to be a regular part of my restaurant rotation. Now the food. I ordered a couple medium orders of Arroz Con Gandules, and Six Pork Tamales. while i was there I also got an order of the potato salad, bread pudding, horchata, the hibiscus juice, the lemonade, and a combo. lets start with the Arroz Con Gandules. It, like most authentic dishes tends to be unique to the cook; no two recipes are identical. Same with tamales. It's the fresh ingredients that stand out. One Bite and you can tell. The potato salad is a traditional puertorican style, with potatoes mashed. I absolutely love the potato salad, and I'm usually not a big fan of it. The Tamales were flavorful and moist without being too sloppy. again, most cooks have their own unique recipe. These came in corn husk wrappers. The bread pudding is absolutely delicious. Its sweet, and theres a hint of cinnamon that gives it a lovely hint of spice. All in all, definitely will be going back, and if Hispanic and Latin foods are your thing, this is definitely a place to go."

"Wow! What a great dining experience. We arrived just before lunch around noon and was immediately welcomed and offered free samples of the drinks and food. The cashier explained the menu to us since this was our first time there. She said that most of their food is not spicy but can be made spicy by adding any of the 3 sauces that were provided with the meal; mild, medium and hot. The hot was nice and spicy, but not overwhelmingly hot. We ate in the small dining room, which was clean, updated and comfortable. We had a sampling of a lot of food as indicated in the pictures and everything was just wonderful. The owner came out several times to ask how everything was and if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back, soon!"
