"Not like it used to be!!! When I first moved here 2 years ago, I really liked this place. Of course this was before the high increase in rent. And also I never liked the fact that you have to pay all utilities in here. 2 years ago it was feasible But from 2021, I was paying 705.00 and now I will be paying 952.00 not to mention they decided to combine the consumer's energy along with the rent which has truly unconvinced me instead of letting it stay separate as it used to, the late fees are insane and depending on how much your consumer energy bill may be that's gonna be well over 1000/mo with no other utilities included. They don't upkeep the hallways the hallways are always nasty, nothing in my unit has been updated, everything is the exact same as it was when I moved in 2 years ago. We had issues with roaches and still do. During the summer time there's loud noisy people out in the pool who lingers around well past the pool hours making all kinds of noise and keeping up disturbances. Walls are paper thin and you can literally hear everything from your neighbors apartment. The fact that they let you know way too late about renewing your lease gives me no time to decide on what to do and really having no time to move out if I wanted to because they send your letter not even 30 days before your term is up. The unit is not even worth the amount I currently pay, let alone the amount I will be paying. 2 years ago, it was worth it. It sure isn't now whatsoever."

"Absolutely terrible place to live. Huge problems, theft and illegal activity on management's end, apartments have bugs, very loud you can hear and smell what everybody is doing. Absolute trash. I do not recommend, Beacon Management is terrible."

"I lived there for 5 years. In the beginning it was fine. After my 3rd year they switched management companies and it was ALL down here from there. I suggest you do your research before making the decision to move here. But I do not recommend."

"I'm a visitor, my son car was broken into. June 22, 2022. There are no cameras outside of the doors. Front doors are not secure people can walk in anytime they get ready and that's very DANGEROUS! MANAGEMENT IS NOT DOING THEIR JOB. To secure people living in the apartments. The hallways are dirty, on the outside is not kept up the way its suppose to be. But yet people are paying high rent and not getting things done that needs to be done. And because it's in Southfield, what does that mean? That your secure. I think not the evidence speaks for itself, people's safety should be a priority. I definitely wouldn't recommend noone to move to these Apartments unless there is 100 degree turn around."
