"I just moved into my apartment this past Friday so I haven't been here long enough to get into all the pros and cons that you find out once you live somewhere for awhile. However, since I very first applied for these apartments I have been incredibly satisfied with the help that I have received from Simone in the office. She has been kind and patient with all of my questions and has gone out of her way to make this a smooth move for me. My first weekend here was so nice. The apartment was much bigger than I expected and it felt so much like home right away. It was very quiet and the few people that I have met have been friendly and kind. I am very happy that I moved here and so far would recommend it!"

"I'm just trying to get an 2 bedroom apartment in the month of August. I'm trying to complete the application process for the 2bdrs apartment, the verification on the application for the 2bdrms apartment must be completed, I need to get my State ID . So, Please, take my application under great consideration. Thank you, ABP !!!"

"I came in on March 27th for a tour and it was the worse tour i’ve been on so far. When we entered the office we were not greeted and the lady [Simone] who was helping us never introduced herself. She asked me for my name and my ID and just handed me some papers without explaining what they were. As we were in walking out the building a man greeted her by name and that’s the only reason I know her name. She was totally silent as we were walking around the apartment and did not ask if we had any questions when we got back to the office. It was an awful experience."

"Can't complain about the units themselves if you come with realistic expectations. They're nice but do come with little quirks being older buildings that are renovated so creative solutions like installing wired pendant lamps and buying your own shower heads goes a long way. Units themselves are built solidly, and we only called maintenance 2 times. The one real maintenance problem occurred when our AC went out in the summer but the maintenance staff were able to repair the HVAC immediately (quoted a month, got it done in 2-3 days). In terms of the building and service it's an excellent value (especially since many apartments in the area have pretty lackluster upkeep). Neighbors are typically friendly and aren't trying to get in your business but we did have one incident that earns Corner Place a 5 star review on how they navigated it. Long story short, a dispute with a particular neighbor who made it clear they didn't want any audible noise to come from our unit. After accumulating more noise complaints in a few months than our entire rental history and particularly severe incident well before quiet hours, we didn't feel comfortable living normally in our own home anymore (can't even consider inviting friends and family over) and were determined to move despite the stress of trying to relet. Management (especially Pam) showed a lot of sympathy to our situation and offered a transfer to a new unit in a different building and even waived the normal transfer fees. We accepted this easy and painless transition! It's rare to see a management team even take these individual situations in consideration and we're so thankful they did! If you're choosing to move to Southfield/Lathrup Village/Beverly Hills, I definitely recommend Corner Place."

"Since we moved late last year, we have had only good experiences with the management and the support staff. Great place to have kids grow up. I like the fact that heating & water is included in the rent along with a covered carport. All basic shopping amenities are close by. No crimes reported either. Safety has always taken a priority with the management. With the opening of a fitness center, Corner Place is definitely a place to recommend. The only recommendation to the management - Please have the Gates closed at all times. Residents with passes can enter and non-residents should be calling their host to enter the community. I see a lot of cars parked over weekends with no tags and they stay there till Monday evening. Not sure if they are resident's friends and family or just random vehicles from outside. There are also vehicles (with no registration plate or Corner Place parking tag) that have not been moved since a year at least. Someone from the management should have them moved or towed to make space for the residents to park"
