Walnut Trail Apartments

"Would be 5 stars before the shady renters insurance deal. Makes a deal with a company to lower their own insurance rates so we're screwed, have to make a blood oath on a full moon, sacrifice your first born, and give my left nut to be able to actually cancel and use my own (been since October and they still haven't figured it out) Multiple phone calls, with assurant themselves (the office is useless and can't do anything about it) that said they solved the problem but here we are a month later and I'm still getting charged, no refund for the months they forced me to have coverage even after I proved I had my own. All so Edward rose can save a few bucks on their own insurance. Probably will not resign a lease after 3 years of being here."

"Poor internet. Poorer cable. Rent keeps increasing though building is old without washer/dryer, dishwasher. Stench of weed is throughout our hallway. At least it's quiet and maintenance is prompt no matter the time or day."

"These apartments are very well kept! Nice clean hallways and apartment units! The office staff are extremely helpful and sensitive to applicants needs! Unlike where I was staying before, management really cared about me as a person and not just a tenant! Awesome place!"

"From the start, I've had a great experience with this complex. The leasing office is friendly and helpful, and maintenance has been prompt! My apartment is simple but in good condition. I hardly hear other tenants in my building, so it must be pretty well insulated for noise. Edit: my one complaint is the amount of residence with dogs that do not clean up their feces. I don't know how this can be managed if the person isn't caught in the act. I would love to see a weight restriction, at least so the size of the poops left behind are small. I've seen massive pills left behind and come spring and summer, this place will smell like dog poop outside. Not looking forward to that. Management - any ideas for how the rule of cleaning up after pets can be enforced?"

"Walnut Trail, Apartment Review: Overall moving to Walnut trail has been a wonderful experience. The maintenance team take great care of the grounds, and respond quickly and kindly to any service calls. (I submitted a request to change the battery in my door lock) The washer’s and dryer’s that are available for use work really well, and the app makes doing laundry easy. I love that it shows me which units are available, and how much longer until my clothes are done! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that I requested that I move into a unit with central air conditioning. The unit I toured had central air, and since I had expressed my preference for central air I had hoped that would have been considered by the leasing agent. Upon move in I notice that biiig A/C box, and was instantly displeased. IF I had additional time prior to moving in I would have gone back to the office to request a unit that fit my preferences. Other than that great place to live, and I highly recommend!"
