"I would most definitely give this apartment complex 10 stars if I could. Not only did they assist me with getting my application processed and accepted quickly, but they also are ALWAYS willing to lend a helping hand and answer any questions you have. Even if it's three o'clock in the morning! I cannot say enough good things about the staff here! I moved in here somewhat recently and I would have to say I would absolutely recommend this apartment complex to anyone I know! The maintenance team is so speedy and polite and respectful of your time and the grounds are always looking so nice! I have already met so many amazing people (my neighbors included!!) that makes me KNOW I made the right choice by choosing Pines West Apartments!! I have a child, so safety and a family feel are important to me and that's exactly what I got!! My little kittens are enjoying the beautiful new carpets, and I am loving this entire experience!! Hands down the best renting experience I've had. I can say that the staff really goes above and beyond to help you feel like a family member. Really lucky to be here!!!"
"I'm starting my second year. If you like peaceful and safe place to live. Affordable rent compare to other apartments around the Portage/Kalamazoo area. This is it. They really try to take care of the complex and maintenance needs. Very friendly staff that runs and works the apartment complex. I'm here the second year because of all of above reasons."
"I just recently applied for a two bedroom apartment and I was so surprised with how smoothly the process went!! Everyone working in the office was extremely helpful and were available to answer all of our questions! I am very excited to be moving in to this very welcoming community."
"Overall an alright place. Office and maintenance is friendly and do the request at a timely manner. The only reason for not giving a higher rating is because the walls and floors are so thin making it to where you can hear everything outside and also all neighbors surrounding you. In the winter with the walls being so thin, you can feel quite a big draft causing you to run your furnace more. The apartments are clean upon moving in and you are able to paint which makes it feel more like home."
