"Was our room as-pictured online? No - there was no sofa and the TV was bed-adjacent making it impossible to watch. But were we greeted by a friendly, helpful front desk person? Also no - we didn't see a single person there even during their working hours the entire weekend. Had to schlep all of our luggage to the room as there wasn't a visible luggage cart (or anyone to ask for one). We were in town for a wedding and didn't have a single place to hang our clothes, save for two hooks. Couldn't see what my outfits looked like because there was no full-length mirror. Didn't really have a place to put folded clothes, although I suppose I could have put them the kitchen drawers. And don't you dare lose a key fob! It's a $25 fee. Because nobody's ever lost a hotel key before. The dog-friendly part feels gimmicky. Unless you have a toy poodle the dog bed is an actual joke. Across the street there's a small patch of grass but getting to and from your room requires four key fob zaps/passcode entries. Literally four. My recommendation? If you're really looking for dog friendly don't stay downtown unless absolutely necessary."

"Best apartment living experience I’ve ever had. The location could not be better, all utilities but electric included, updated everything with modern design, and best of all it is EXTREMELY pet friendly. The downstairs pet room is the best feature I’ve ever seen, and saved me all winter long in the mornings. The building is extremely secure, and the front desk and leasing staff are awesome and super friendly. Kelsey is great and made the process super easy. After moving back to GR mid pandemic, and spending three months searching for houses, my fiancé and I threw in the towel and decided to go for another apartment. A 470 Sq/ft studio was the soonest they had available and we took it. I was worried going into it, but it ended up being the best thing we could have done. Recommend it to anyone even debating the studio or downtown lifestyle. Only moved out because we had the opportunity to buy a house, otherwise we would have stayed forever. 10/10, would give more stars if I could. If you are even debating living here, just pull the plug and do it. You will not regret it."

"If you can afford it, the Morton is an amazing place to live. I always felt welcome, I was always treated with respect, and honestly, for the location and what you get, the price is reasonable. Pretty quiet too, and very welcoming for me and my pets. Would return in a heartbeat if finances allowed."
