Best Buy

"I wholeheartedly understand why people shop online at Amazon, Ebay, etc. and I will not feel any remorse when this company starts to shutdown. My recent visit to BestBuy was incredibly disappointing. Upon entering the store, I was not greeted by any staff members, and my efforts to locate assistance in finding a specific item were unsuccessful. Despite wandering the store in the hope of encountering an available associate, most departments appeared lifeless, with no employees in sight. When I did manage to spot a staff member, I felt ignored and observed from a distance rather than assisted. After enduring 10 minutes of this lack of customer service, I left feeling frustrated and neglected. This experience has deterred me from returning to BestBuy in the future."

"Always very helpful. Everytime I've been there they have showed me everything I wanted to see and more. Very generous return policy as well. Had to return a cell phone. Whole transition was smooth. Definitely will be returning with future business."

"Buyer beware of Best Buy's return policy! I recently had a terrible experience with Best Buy in Grandville when I tried to return an unopened item with a receipt, just 17 days after purchasing it. To my surprise, I was informed that they only allow returns within 2 weeks of purchase, and anything past that requires a membership. This policy seems incredibly unfair, especially for a store that sells expensive electronics and appliances. I made a large purchase at Christmas time and decided to upgrade it later, which led me to return one of the adapters I had originally bought. It's frustrating that I was not informed about the policy beforehand, and even more frustrating that the employees did not seem to care about my situation. If this is their policy, fine, but they should be upfront about it and not cause unnecessary inconvenience for their customers. In my opinion, this policy is ridiculous and I would caution anyone making a purchase at Best Buy to be aware of it and expect push back if they need to return something past the 2 week mark."
