Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Goshen

"Be careful. They will charge you a damage room fee when the room was never damaged! They charged me the correct amount then charged again the next day for damage room fees. I called and asked to see the rooms and the supposed damage, they told me no. Because THERE WAS NOT DAMAGE! I’m beyond furious. I called corporate. They either return my money or they can show me the proof. This hotel will scam you out of hundreds of dollars! DO NOT STAY HERE! They need shut down! After reading the terrible reviews, it is disgusting how they keep these people employed at this hotel. If you have kids do NOT stay here. They have an issue with kids."

"I'm convinced the people who left reviews before me were just really grumpy. The bed was comfy. The room was spotless, updated, and quiet. The breakfast was very nice. Staff are friendly. Came to town to see a national recording artist, and looked out the window last night to see that they had picked this hotel too. Even without that happening, I would stay here again if I ever came back to Goshen. Wish I had taken a picture of the room, but didn't so here is just a picture of the eggs at breakfast. They also had veggie sausage! Which is rare."

"Great hotel to stay at in Goshen. Was in town for business trip. Very friendly staff, even sang happy birthday to me on my birthday. Very clean and new. Plenty of parking, good size gym and pool, good size breakfast area and decent selection of food for free breakfast. The only reason for not getting 5 stars is that the rooms walls and floors are very thin, and you hear lots of noise from your neighbors. I even heard the lyrics to the Mexican music videos on my neighbors tv. The beds were a little too soft for my liking, but were comfortable. All in all a good experience and I would stay here again. The staffs friendliness and the clean/new look of the hotel is why."

"Book adjoining rooms for my family for my Dad’s funeral. I have 4 kids under 6 years of age. Adjoining door would not open. Was told by front desk they had no one on staff at that time to fix it and no other accommodations to offer. My family had to go find another hotel last minute. We have since been charged hundreds of dollars and are being denied a refund. Called to speak with a manager or supervisor, left a voicemail and three days later no return call. Very poor customer service, would not recommend."

"This hotel was very clean, but unfortunately it takes more than that to be a good hotel. When you stay at Fairfield the two things you should always get is great customer service and good breakfast. This Fairfield in Goshen missed the mark big time. The breakfast was not brand at all, in fact the oatmeal was in a packet and the attendant stopped replacing food at 8:30, 30 minutes before breakfast was supposed to start. When you asked her for more of a certain item she said “we’re all out.” My husband and I traveled to Goshen from Florida to spend time with our family especially our nephews. When we arrived at the hotel with our nephews we were told that they could not use the pool because they were not staying overnight. This policy was not written anywhere and if it was we would have chosen another accommodation. This made up rule, ruined all of our plans. Lastly, Housekeeping refused to make up my bed because there was a so called personal item on the bed, but it was only a back brace. They also used that excuse as a reason not to clean the room at all. Crumbs all over the floor I do not recommend this hotel, choose Hampton Inn down the street"
