"Couldn't even find the place. Called the number and no answer. Went to the Hamilton which we were told has the same owner. They were going to have Apple Blossom call us. No call. We asked for directions at another hotel. They told us the place was a dump and a scam. We gave up trying to even find it. No that I read the reviews I am glad we never found it ,(using two GPS systems and the phone,)."
"Arnold Bell’s post is exactly right. My sister and I stayed here two years ago, worst hotel we ever stayed in. Complained to Days Inn, Mackinaw City Tourism, they did nothing. Room was filthy and moldy. Owner or manager lied to Tourism, said they offered us housekeeping or a room change…we never spoke to them. Refused to refund our money at the Days Inn check in and Tourism did nothing at all. They offered to send a free night’s stay at another hotel, I never received anything."

"DO NOT STAY HERE - THEE WORST! It is not the Apple Blossom it is called the Welcome Inn and deer camp is a lot nicer, rooms stink real bad, air condition unit does not work, mold in the bathroom tub - a lot, hole in the floor where owner/contractor covered up with carpet. Basically put some pine boards up on wall and everything else is a total shame. We called the number to change or get our money back, nope just another hotel (Days Inn) assisting in check in and cleaning rooms - no help what so ever. We were suppose to be in room #1 wrong called number cause code did not let us in we were suppose to be in #4 OK. Next to us in room #5 was a young mother with young kids running around throwing large rocks, Mom asked to stop while she played on her phone they did not, they were teenagers going in and out of room #5 while the smell of weed was very strong. We went down to Keyhole to eat only to find out by the personal there that a lot of people checking in or not staying at Welcome Inn had same issue, they asked us where are you at and we told them then we get oh that place is a dump. We ended up checking into another hotel it was excellent! Again the pictures are miss-leading and this place should be shut down."
