"The wait has always been ridiculous. The face time spent with the doctor has become increasingly less each year I am here. Concerns are waved off. The staff are all incredibly rude. You feel like such an inconvenience. Finding a new dermatologist."

"I was a new patient on Sept. 24, 2020 with a lesion on my leg that I had to wait from June til Sept. to be seen. I tried to be friendly but she didn't tell me anything! She put some ointment to put on every night and I had no idea what it was for until I looked up what the medication was for. I asked at the desk if they had a patient portal. I was handed 4 sheets stapled together and no other info... The instructions were very confusing and I ended up locking myself out of the signing in.... I called and told the receptionist what happened and she unlocked it and told me to start over..I have spent too much time with the portal. Now I just want someone to send me an email, text or hard copy with the results from my appointment!"

"The receptionist didn’t even give me the time of day to ask what my issues are. I have a mole that needs checked asap and I was rudely cut off as soon as I said I would be a new patient because “we aren’t actually accepting new patients so you have to wait and call back in 2021”. Great, so if my mole is cancerous, I just have to live with it for at least 4 months? And then maybe check back? That’s awesome. Teach your desk some customer service and how to politely apologize for someone having a medical concern that you are unable to address in your office at this time."

"I am a patient at Phoenix dermatology. My daughter is a patient there also but it has been a few years since she has been seen. I called the office today just for an opinion on how to reduce a scar from forming on my seven-year-old daughter's forhead from stitches . I just asked them if there was any cream I could use or anything that would help the scar tissue from forming. She hasn't been seen in a while but all I wanted was an opinion that did not require an office visit. They refused to help me because she has not been seen in a few years. I would definitely recommend taking children to a pediatric dermatologist opposed to Phoenix dermatology. My daughter is seven years old and I just wanted an opinion from a doctors office that I did trust. I am disappointed they would not help me. They told me to ask a pharmacist."
