Versant Place Apartments

"I recently moved from Orlando. So glad I did! I looked at 12 apartments and Versant Place Apartments was the right place for me. It checked all the boxes. It was close to shopping and honestly think of a store and it is more than likely ten minutes away. The second entrance practically leads right up to my apartment. My son & I are living in a two bedroom one bath. It is a good size for us. It even comes with a washer & dryer. I had to leave my washer & dryer at the place in Orlando because there they only provided the hook-ups for laundry. I have already become friends with the maintenance staff. They are Bruce & Brian. Great guys, very friendly and will help you any way the can. Last but not least is our Leasing Agent Angel. She is kind, bright, and humble. Angel will help you in any way she can. Her support was priceless to me. She was in my corner throughout the in-processing which at times, I was having some difficulties navigating. That is saying it mildly. You want a great experience, then remember it goes both ways. Be kind and sincere and Angel and the rest of her Team will be in your corner. I wish all who read this review much success & happiness. Try a little kindness, it goes a long way!"

"Bruce did a fantastic job fixing the leak in my bathroom today. He went out of his way to also remove the mold that was forming around the bath tub due to the bad job done with caulk and replaced it with I believe he called it granite! It took him 2.5 hrs and he did not quit until the job was done!! My experience so far with all the maintenance and staff has been great!!! I just wish they had more workers to attend all the work orders in a timely matter. I still have 2 work orders open since October."

"Long story short, I've lived here for 7 years. Whatever issues you have for maintenance, expect them to call you about it 15 times and never come and do it. I've had a leak in my roof for 8 months. Every time it rains, I have to put a bucket down. My stove has been broken for 2 years. The front burners smoke if you turn them on. I think the best part of living here is the maintenance team. There's 2 guys who ride around all day and make women extremely uncomfortable. My fiancé loves to tell me about the cat calls. One of them drove by her, reversed back up to her, and started singing and whistling while staring at her. Great place to live if you're like my neighbors. Dirty and loud."

"Just moved in a few months ago and have been enjoying our little apartment! The amenities are wonderful, office staff is very friendly and prompt and maintenance requests get taken care of in a timely manor! It’s quiet, the gym is great, pools are always clean, the property is visually beautiful with no trash. There’s always plenty of parking and shaded spots are a bonus for us. I’d definitely recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking!"

"These apartments do have nice management so that is the one thing that keeps me from leaving zero stars. The management was nice and approachable, but were at times slow to respond to concerns. Now for the bad. These are the worst apartments I’ve lived in. The walls and ceilings in between apertments are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors loud TV and stomping. I voiced this concern and it took the apartment 3 months to resolve a noise issue with my neighbor. The unit I moved into was not clean there was signs of wear and tear all over the master bathroom and the floor in the guest bathroom felt like it would sink in and collapse. The kitchens are tiny and dated. I had issues with cockroaches and bugs the whole time I lived there, and I kept the apartment clean. I’ve never had issues with bugs before. In fact the day before I moved out I found a large spider in my shower. Maintenance was very slow to respond to concerns, my sink drain was clogged the whole time I lived here, for the last three weeks I lived in the apartment after a power outage the units’ 1990s home alarm system regularly went off and maintenance did not address it even after I put in an emergency request. Finally the outside entrance ways of the apartment were filthy and trash was often piled outside of the dumpsters. Like I said the management is nice, but I think they're in over their heads. This place is a dump and would be difficult for anyone to manage effectively given the state of the apartments. They are in desperate need of remodeling. This place made my eight months living in the Tampa area miserable. Do yourself a favor and avoid!!!"
