Village Lakes Apartments

"Been here now for 6 months. I love it here! It’s conveniently located near shopping and easy access to expressways. The units are very spacious and completely upgraded. The area is very clean and quiet. I do wish there was more things such as a play area and/or basketball court and picnic area for bbq grills to have a place to enjoy when family and friends visit. They do have monthly events for the residents with games, food vendors etc. There is a pool and gym and multiple lakes to view ducks, turtles and fish. Tanya is the best! She helped us relocate from 3 hours away. She made everything smooth, easy and convenient."

"Great place but since 10am this morning my apartment don't have any running water. I am very disappointed that management went home for the day without letting us know that the water in our apartment would be off all night long. This is unacceptable and inhumane. We can't flush our toilets, we can't shower, we can't do our laundry, or cook. The sprinklers are working just fine. I would have been okay if my family and I were informed that we would not have water in our apartment all night. We could have made arrangements to stay with family. The good thing is that the water we bought because of this situation, won't be wasted. Still, this was disappointing. Bldg 1. Thanks for finally putting up our bldg 1 sign on our apartment bldg since August. We appreciate our water being restored. Thank you. That was a challenging ordeal to say the least."

"With a change in their corrupt management Village Lakes in Sanford could be great. It's definitely beautiful, outside. The roaches are a distraction from that beauty. Frankly, I've experienced lot's of: sexual bribery, how lease rules are enforced is based on the ethnicity of the tenant. Did the owners of Village Lakes think it's tenants do not notice their continued false advertisement involving amenities?"

"I live in this apartment for almost a year now My dishwasher isn’t working Every time the person in the front office says oh I’m going to fix it but never today on 10/18 one of the maintenance guy came to my apartment placed a dishwasher and it’s not working the water won’t drain My thing is that when the rent is due you have to pay it within 2 days if not you will get charge but as a living resident you cannot get your issues resolved I have recommend this apartment which I will never do anymore Lesson learned"

"****READ THIS****Do not rush into this place because if your money is right they will rush you in. I was in need of a place so I did think don't fall for the Okey doke of do you want a newly remodel or a old style apartment. Ask to see both and then decide.Nwxt be ready for the roaches they a fearles and everywhere and their exterminator is not worth a thing. I don't understand why they only spray the kitchen. The repairman bust in you house any time I was very uneasy there. They did this to me several times and to my children once when they where home alone. Scared them so bad they where hiding in the closet. Thank God I did go far any way because I don't leave them for long they are of age to be left alone but I don't fir long. Just keep in mind that place is very suspicious in there behavior. Because it's all smiles but that the Okey doke I mentioned earlier. Gave them a 2 star because when I had a flat tire they sent a repairmen to help and I am grateful to them for that."
