"Treated my friend Tara terribly! I have been to their apartment and you can smell that something is off. Well it’s mold all throughout. Do not live here! She has BLACK mold in her apartment AND cockroaches. They have an 18 month old and are constantly sick! When the issue has been “fixed” they spray painted over it. Terrible apartment complex. They do not care about the well being of their tenants just money. They could be taken to court over the issues if they aren’t resolved."

"We moved in a few months ago and have had nothing but pleasant experiences. The front staff is very helpful and our move in was very easy and seamless. Anytime we have a question or have had any issues, they are handled promptly and professionally. So far we have run into no issues. It is a nice and quiet complex!! Very excited about living here."

"We are living with black mold and cockroaches while having a one year old. Emailed and asked them to have some sympathy and view us as people and not just a paycheck and let us out of our lease 2 months early, after living in this disgusting, pathetic excuse of an apartment home for 18 months, and we were told “unfortunately, no.” This is unsafe living conditions and is causing everyone in this house to be sick. DO NOT LIVE HERE"

"If I could give zero stars I would! Mold everywhere. Water literally leaking from ceiling in bathroom. Termite infestation in front window. Multiple maintenance requests. Fix was spray killz! Still dripping water and still bugs in front window!! Have pics & videos with current date stamp. Do not move here!! Unless section 8, which they accept. Mac alpine is listed as low income housing. Perhaps this place is better than other options for section 8? You will still have issues. It's the worst complex I have ever lived in."

"My husband and I moved here 6 months ago to be closer to our businesses. We sold our home an hour north from here and had to rent due to the increase in housing cost. The community location is excellent for us. We rent one of the town homes and it's a nice amount of space. Samantha in the office has always been friendly. However, for the money that we spend here, I have higher expectations. Not only is the rent very high, but they charge you for everything under the sun. Our townhouse has a garage and yet because we have 2 vehicles, we have to pay two $25 parking fees. They charge you for all of utilities, trash, package lockers, pest control, cable (even if not used), and your water. Water Bill is a fee-based on how many people live in your unit, not based on usage. I know from having my business in Dunedin that their waterbills are extremely reasonable. And what we pay is on the high-end. This month, I wanted to be proactive and pay my bills a couple of days early. I logged into my residential portal and paid all the charges on September 30. Apparently, the utility charges aren't posted until the 1st. Everything is due the 1st, so that's setting up people to get fined a late fee. They sent out a generic reminder to pay rent, but in my mind, I already paid everything in full. Two days later, I got slapped with a $75 late fee for not paying my rent on time. The utility bill that was added was $128. I asked the office about removing the fee, and they don't do that. I escalated it to the business manager, Eileen, and she was very short and rude. Claiming she was doing me a courtesy by telling me no, we don't refund any late fees. I spent 20 years in Corporate Sales, and when I used the term courtesy, that usually meant I was offering some kind of concession as a one-time offer to help the customer with their problems. It's apparent that this company is greedy and not really about caring for their residents that line their bank accounts. In addition, right when we moved in, I put in work orders in, and they were never completed. My husband fixed one of the major issues in our bathroom, and we can not use the ceiling fan in my son's room because it wobbles really bad. Overall, I'd say as soon as our lease is up, we hope to be able to move into a house again because renting is extremely expensive and you don't get the level of service to match the fees."
