Publix Super Market at Hialeah

"Stopped by today like I always do every day and once the teller instructed me to make the payment the machine would take the chip and it wouldn’t let me tap my card. She then called over a manager named Manny who was extremely unprofessional and told me without trying that most likely it was my card that had an issue. He made it seem as if I didn’t have money in my account. Then he walked me over to another register were my card was accepted as soon as I tapped it. Manny needs more training in customer service and shouldn’t assume without knowing what the real problem was. I then spoke to a manager named Stephany who was also very aggressive in demanding when she spoke to me that she would address the situation. I will not be shopping at this location anymore. Definitely this store needs better management and is lacking training from their managers that are on duty!"

"There’s no worst Store Manager as David, this Publix store manager. Rude, arrogant, confrontational, argumentative, attacking I could use so many negative adjectives to describe David. He humiliated me publicly in front of a crowd, told me not to shop in Publix anymore, as if he owns Publix. I was shocked hearing it. He discriminated me just because I’m not black like him. It’s shocking a leader acts in such a way. He should be fired as he doesn’t deserve this job. Pls don’t spend your money in this Publix. They don’t deserve you hard working money"

"I’m a long time shopper of this Publix, to the extent that I know the aisles better than some of the people that work here. Today was my last day shopping there. It seems like maybe I’m taking it to extreme, but it was the straw that broke the camel’s back. As always, the deli refuses to attend to you, unless you make the line, so what is the point of ordering online? She saw me, acknowledged me, and proceeded to attend to everyone in the line. It’s a waste of my time and money. The cherry on top was that when I was parking, a very busy Saturday, they decided to leave the carts they were picking up in front of open parking spots. A manager in the parking lot walked by, looked at my car, ignored me and walked inside. I had to move the carts out of the way so that I could park. Customer service is terrible now. I am done with this location. I will say, Juan that reviewed below is truly one of the few highlights - he was always so helpful."

"Very well stocked and clean. Everything is in order and where it needs to be. Lots and lots of specials and sales. Checkout was quick and efficient. Very good Publix."
