"This place is misleading. It’s in a nice part of town but it the worst place to stay in my opinion. Room 204. I couldn’t even be in the room for one hour, I had to cancel immediately. when I was leaving the front desk told me they would charge me for one night even though I had canceled already because of the low quality standards. I had booked for six nights, and one night there would be terrible and unbearable. The bed made a lot of noise. The room had a smell as soon as I walked in. I just didn’t feel comfortable trying to stay there. Bed sheet covering the couch. The Internet didn’t work, shower was spraying in all directions and was broken. it was nothing worth the price just because it’s in a nice area. There’s no hot water. there’s a broken tile, there’s a weird odor. I believe there’s some mold or water damage or something wrong because there was stains in the baseboard and weird color all over the tile. They seriously need to renovate. All of the other hotels nearby seem nice except for this one."

"I stayed here for 1 night on a doctor's appointment trip and the room was nice, clean but dated. The air conditioner was very very loud, and although cold, never actually made the rest of the room chilly. There were old used rags draping on the top of the shower curtain? As well as a, assumingly, used loofa jamgimg off the shower head. Checkout is at 11am like any other hotel, typically. I had to leave at 9am due to my doctor's appointment, went to checkout, and nobody is there. My doctor's appointment is all day. 9am is not very early for a business. So now not only do I have to drive 15 minutes back to the hotel to return my key, but now have to argue how I tried checking out early in the day and nobody was there without a designated key return or anything. I've never had an absent front desk at any hotel I've stayed at, which are typically 2-4 star hotels."

"If you are visiting Boca Raton and looking for a place to stay that is walking distance to the beach (literally across the street) with AMAZING customer service, look no further. This hidden gem on Ocean Drive in Boca is across the street from the beach, has a nice pool with laundry facilities on site and an amazing housekeeping lady and the lady at the front desk, there are no words. She was amazing at getting us in last minute and very accommodating! We had to stay here for 56 day's after being forced to move from our apartment due to unlivable conditions. A very understanding and compassionate lady. I so very much apologize I can't remember your name, but we wanted to say thank you and we will most certainly be recommending all of our visitors to stay at the Ocean Lodge! :-)"

"My daughter and I stayed at this hotel expecting a nice calm relaxed vacation, however it did not turn out this way. The house keepers were very rude and unpolite. The house keeping service was terrible and refused to clean our room on two separate occasions. On these occasions they did not provide us with any service whatsoever. We were left with no clean towels, trash cans full, and no soap. They also complained about changing the bedding when we requested after having stayed for one week. After contacting the office and bringing it to the manager’s attention that there was an issue, she began yelling at me and saying I am rude and like to treat people like slaves. All in all the situation was not handled professionally or the ethically right way. The manager claimed she was always in the office when in reality she was rarely there. She also completely ignored the texts when we tried to inform her on the housekeeping situation the 1st time. In addition the door was not secure, we were unable to put the additional secondary lock because it did not fit. There were a lot of noises with the air conditioning and bathroom along with very uncomfortable beds and a lot of dust in the room. We don’t recommend this place at all. The only good thing about it is the location near the beach."
