"No housekeeping service unless requested. When requested they just switched out the towels. Didn’t replace the coffee and coffee maker had to be held to work. On the last day housekeeping was knocking on the door every hour. Breakfast was okay but they have an interesting definition of meat. Gravy counts as meat! They allow pets in all rooms none available for people with allergies. Not mentioned on Marriott website. When asked about it said they are not really Marriott they just have the name. Much better comparable properties around. Try Hampton Inn"

"Best hotel in Venice FL, right off of I-75. Good breakfast for a smaller hotel & great staff! Hotel and rooms were very clean, all staff was very friendly. Mike & Sarah at the front desk, Isabela the manager, all other staff we interacted with were great! Stayed with my sister visiting family and we will return :)"

"If I could give a zero I would this is the WORSE Marriott hotel I have ever stayed at and I am a Marriott member(Silver) which shouldn’t mean anything even if I was a bronze, gold or platinum that shouldn’t be looked at which was asked. Bottom line am a Marriott member. First off our room is invested with with ants and they want to move us to another hotel but we have to pay for it when there hotel is invested with ants… The manager did not want to give back my points that I used nor did she want to compensate for there nasty invested hotel… And then the front desk manager Cindy wants to say well we live in Florida and when it’s cold ants and roaches can come into peoples homes, hotels etc- like I haven’t lived in Florida over 20 years and in my home we don’t have any of the above which implies that she is use to insects and is trying to make excuse for there invested hotel. On top of everything it’s 11:30pm that’s right PM and I have to now take my 5yr to drive over 2hrs to get back home and miss my son bball games because of lack of compassion or even trying to go above and fix the situation with a complimentary stay at another Marriot. Terrible!!!! If I could post a video I would because those pictures do no justice!!!!!"

"We are members and I have to share our disappointment with this hotel. The air conditioning was damaged making an extremely noise! I complained and the result was an Incompetent unmotivated manager. I can say only: 3 nights and only 1 we could sleep well. That was our holidays :( Besides the Breakfast needs urgent improvement! And the staff could be definitely friendlier. Except for Regina and the cleaning crew they were very nice, thanks."
