"We stayed 8 days . I was quoted a rate of 137 which was the horse show rate. Got bill 3-4 nights charged at 230 / night when I called hotel and spoke to front desk they stated they could not change rate. Bill was 1800 dollars and was not a very good hotel for 223 / night and never told us it would be higher rate on different nights but the rate for horse show was 137/night . We will not be staying next year that’s for sure . It’s a lower hotel not worth 223/ night even if in Venice"
"Biggest downside to this place, is the breakfast that claims to be ready at 6am, but doesn't actually show up and is available until 630am. And seeing staff walking in and getting big plates of food well before its available for waiting guests. When you gave to leave the hotel for work at 630am, and breakfast isn't ready until 630, when the sign says 6am, is VERY frustrating. Come on Holiday, I know you can do better, Ive stayed at many of your hotels in florida, everything is prompt and on time, there is no excuse for a late breakfast D:"
"Most holiday inns are clean , upkept and maintained . We booked this hotel because we have had pleasant experiences staying at them before. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The room was dirty , the entire 4th floor smelled like mold, the floor in the room had missing flooring, the bathroom was not cleaned at all, and the pool was drained when we called the day before and was told it was ready for guests. If we would have known this is how our stay was going to be we would have stayed somewhere else. My child’s stylus fell off the bed and when my husband went to get it there was rat poop and cat poop under the chair and around the base of the headboards.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."
