He will teach you through improv and scene study. His improv helps you think on your feet, build your arsenal of characters, and become wittier with each warm up. He will show you how to break down a scene and truly understand it from its moment before to its characters and their tactics to achieve what they want. "Love love love this studio. Been there for 3 years and I have never been more confident as an actor. Zane’s classes and instruction have helped me get out of my head and perform in truth. The adult classes are on stage in the beautiful Red Clay theater in downtown Duluth. The class gives you a chance to take risks and get out of your comfort zone. It’s a safe space too. Zane’s great at meeting you where you are in your acting journey. I’ve never felt judged or shamed by his instruction, only challenged to go deeper into the scene and the character. We also do theater games and improv to warm up at the beginning and cool down with a short improv game at the end. It’s a wonderful little community of actors who are on different levels, but support each other as we perform our scenes. I also love that Zane is walking the walk. He’s not some theater major who did a short film 20 years ago. He has a hefty resume and is currently pursuing a career in film by auditioning (often booking too) for major projects. This helps him be up on the latest casting director and talent agent trends, and gives us wisdom from his on set experience. Zane will take your acting to the next level if you’re willing to learn."
