Our goal is to support each child in achieving their own independence by providing the knowledge, skills, and personal character needed to flourish. Our students learn advanced skills at an accelerated pace, with kindergartners performing math operations with 4-digit numbers and reading by age 4.

Our Children's House program, designed for 3- to 6-year-olds, is the capstone kindergarten year where children experience an explosion of literacy and advanced math concepts. Following elementary, students continue on to our Montessori middle and high school, the Academy of Thought & Industry, combining a classical liberal arts emphasis with a Montessori focus on independence and agency.

We provide year-round, extended-day programming at no extra cost, with daily photo and video updates, milestone meetings, and parent-child events to showcase your child's progress. We strive to cultivate joy in education and nurture a lifelong love of learning. Book a school tour today to experience the transformation of Montessori education with Guidepost Montessori.

"Guidepost- Duluth was an amazing experience. My daughter grew up during the pandemic and consequently did not have the opportunity to attend pre-school. As a result, the transition from being at home the first five years of life to starting KG as a full time student was quite challenging. Thankfully, after speaking to Michelle about the benefits of Guidepost- Duluth, we decided to enroll our little one into the school on a part time basis. She adapted so well to Ms. Mithra and the Guidepost Montessori philosophy of learning, that she started full time after a few short months. Overall, our daughter spent her entire KG year at Guidepost Duluth, and then started First Grade at our local elementary school. Her transition to our local school was seamless and more importantly, she goes to school happily because she associates learning with fun. We have Guidepost- Duluth and its wonderful staff to thank for that. As of the date of this review, we fully recommend Guidepost-Duluth to anyone who is considering enrolling their child at this location."

"We have absolutely loved our experience at Guidepost Duluth. The school is so clean and bright, with simple (but plentiful) decor and classrooms as true to the Montessori way. Our lead guides Miss Sonali and then Miss Samana and Miss Kelly have been wonderful. Turnover hasn't been bad compared to other childcare places. More than anything, the school is run really well - they communicate and they're organized. The head of school Michelle and the assistant Kayla are on their game. We are moving soon so will be leaving, and since touring other schools I can confirm nothing is coming close to this. I would highly recommend!"

"Ok, this is long overdue review. Guidepost Montessori Duluth is AMAZING! We enrolled our baby girl at 9M. She is currently 16M and loving it! They have super low ratio teachers to babies for the infants class. Everyone is amazing. Ms Kayla is such a gentle and loving soul. She always knows everything that has happend to our girl during the day. She and the other teachers get so excited when our girl learns something new or says a new word and can't wait to share with us! Everything is new, which us a plus :) Have lots of events and activities for the kiddoes. In the online portal you can see at any point of time what is going on with your baby, they log everything all the time. Also they take pictures almost every day and send them. This is so fantastic! Especially in the beginning when you enroll your baby and you are a nervous ball! The leadership Ms Amy and Tina are the best. Super kind and helpful all the time. Last but not least, well the Montessori style of education is just one of a kind. We did chose them because of Montessori. Also Guidepost schools are so much better than other Montessori ones. Just can't say enough great things about this place. Get your kid in there! You won't regret it."

"My 23 month old loves coming to school everyday in the toddler community! In 1 month, she’s become so much more independent and seems so much happier overall. She cleans up after herself at home, has advanced in her readiness for potty training, and is talking so much more than she was a month ago. We both love it ♥️"
