"My husband and I took beginner lessons with Atile. She was absolutely wonderful! Neither my husband nor I have much rhythm, but she still was able to teach us and make the lessons fun! "I had some Latin group classes experience more than 15 years ago and decided to be serious about this so I can participate in Pro-Am competitions. So I had to make sure I could find the best teacher to help me fulfill this goal. After exploring and talking to people in town, I figured out Slava who was the champion of Blackpool and German Open in his professional career would be my best option in Georgia so I started taking private lessons with him since October 2022. I’m glad I made that decision. After five months of classes, I was able to compete for the closed Bronze level at Heritage Classic in Charlotte and won all the 1st place we could win at the event. My big win comes from Slava’s great experience of his professional career so he knows how to improve his students’ skills and charisma at the dance floor. You can tell that teaching his students to dance is not just his job but also something he enjoys doing and he has both the willingness and ability to help his students achieve their individual goals. Dancing like a star is also a great studio to work with. Everyone is nice and supportive and talented! Speaking of which, my studio had won 1st or 2nd places of all the categories we participated in the competition I just mentioned. Some people are born dancers, some are not. But if everyone from the same studio can secure a great result, it tells you something."
