"Context: Attended class 3 times a week, 6-7 hrs total per week, for 4 months. I attended the Aikido, Sword class, and most recent Bo staff class. Attended to get a workout during an activity that I enjoyed. I am on the autistic spectrum. If you would like to attend the class there are aspects of Jimmy Kincaid that you must be okay with during attendance. 1. You will be scolded in front of the entire class, dependant upon his mood, if you make a mistake. Whether you knew what you did was wrong or not, it matters not. 2. You cannot joke during class, the amount of joking is dependent upon Jimmy's mood. So you must gauge whether or not joking would be accepted or not. If you have autism which limits your ability to guage that you are out of luck. 3. During your attendance the class might be invited out to eat with Jimmy. This will probably be some sort of Oriental food, like ramen, chinese, or sushi. Do not arrive early, this class has a pecking order and you will be sat in this order so if you arrive early and are sitting in a seat Jimmy wants, he will move you, no matter if there are 20 open seats around you. If you have social anxiety I suggest you arrive either 5 to 10 minutes late so that you can find an open seat. (This is a specific example because this did happen) 4. Do no question Jimmy, because he is "Sensai" it means you must say "Yes Sensai" to everything he says. Even if it was a dumb question. Example: If jimmy asks you if you have a waxwood (it is a sword made of waxwood you are not allowed to buy until you have passed your first test, even if you use them almost every class) , and you say "no", then ask if you can buy a waxwood because you use it during class alot, he will say no (if you are not far enough along), if you ask him why he asked you if you had a wax wood, he will scold you for asking that question. Do not question Sensai's dumb questions. You must say "Yes Sensai" and wonder that to yourself. If you can handle these aspects you should be good to go. Personally I will not pay anymore to do an activity that the enjoyment was sucked out of it, when I was told "I joke too much" and am "Disrespectful" for questioning someone, when they clearly asked such a dumb question."

"I was training with sensei Jimmy since 2017. He is supportive and a great teacher. He has a passion as a budoka (martial artist) and helping students grow as martial artists and teaching life lesson through shinkendo. As a Japanese person, I appreciate him because he respect Japanese culture and traditions. Highly recommend!"
