"Update 5/26/23: When you move out they owe you a security deposit and any extra rent you have paid. It's impossible to get in touch with anyone. It's been 2 weeks. I've called, left messages, emailed and not one response. They are ignoring me because they owe me money!! It's frustrating, ridiculous and a poor way for a company to present themselves. Do not rent from this apartment complex! I wish I could give 0 stars.......No amenities like other apartment complexes for pretty much the same price. Your PACKAGES WILL get STOLEN and although the property management says they viewed videos of the lobby, they will never find anything to help you and it will not get resolved. You must be home when packages are delivered to make sure they are not stolen. I am moving once my 1 year lease is up to an apartment complex that costs the same amount monthly and has a pool, lockboxes, gym and more. I do not recommend moving here."

"This is the worst place to rent from, my car got broken into and they refused to show the video tapes. On top of that, the apartment is filled with bugs and poor amenities. Ugliest building I’ve ever seen."

"This is the worst property management group I have ever rented from. They will charge you 4x months rent when you move out and not return your deposit. They are a predatory and exploitive agency that should not have the authority to manage properties. On top of that, they will continue to lie to you. These apartments have 0 amenities, bugs, you can hear everything, are cheap construction, dirty apartment building, no court yard or grass to let your animals out, unsafe area. You will get your packages stolen. DO NOT RENT from legend property group or matrix midtown!!!!!!!"

"Great apartment with amazing amenities. The location was great and staff was exceptionally helpful. The parking lot was a little tough to navigate, and sometimes there was noise, but would highly recommend to be close to VCU and downtown RVA."

"Would have loved to see the apt as location was great and rate similar to the other five units being toured in other buildings within a 2 mile radius however property management never showed up after we arrived 15 min early and waited till 20 min past apt time. Rather annoying considering we just made the drive here from Rhode Island 8.5 hours away. No wonder they have so many open units... if I was the owner I’d find a new prop manager. Also there were fed ex deliveries who couldn’t safely drop packages and who waited over 30 min to attempt to deliver with no success. Maybe they will call back but considering they told us to wait outside and never called back I doubt it."
