"Fast response to maintenance request. I don’t know if it’s because of the trees or rain, but there’s always large roaches in the apartment and damage to living room and master bedroom ceilings due to the rain and the master bathroom shower head keeps lifting and faucet. Compactor gets full and you have to be careful you don’t stumble over piles of trash or huge rat’s especially during the summer time.Recently new mailboxes were installed and days later we get emails saying our mail will be sent to the post office and longer available at the front desk. It’s not the residents fault mailboxes are not available for use yet due to the post office. At least make it convenient for the residents to still pickup mail at the front desk. The email didn’t specify which post office and I’m not from Virginia so I have no clue, and I’m someone that’s expecting important mail and packages around this time of year."

"Great job! HEAT went off and was repaired by receiving a fresh brand new heater that have every room in the apartment warm."

"We stayed at harbor village from 2022 - 2023. The pros were the prompt maintenance repairs and the area felt safe. The biggest con was the mice. The complex has one dumpster so trash often overflows (at times into the streets) and, in the warmer seasons, this attracts rodents. And several tenants reported mice in their apartments. When we raised this issue, bug busters would come and lay traps that weren't very strong. We had to get our own traps and caught 4 mice. We were told that the construction at Tucker nearby was the issue but it doesn't make sense to not address the trash issue when that could also be attracting them. When we walked by the dumpster, we could see families of mice running around the holes. I don't know if the problem has since been resolved but we moved out for this reason. We had a little one who was crawling so was disheartened when little was done to help, especially with the high rent we were paying — close to 1700."

"While maintenance responds very well when an incident is reported; I have an ongoing misgiving about thoroughness and problem solving. I have a stove light that seems to burn out every other month. Obviously that should not happen. Maintenance responds every time and...... changes the bulb. When a water leak from the upstairs unit caused a flood in my apartment, the issue was repaired, but mold grew months later. In both instances, everything LOOKS fine, but they only fix the symptom not the problem. I don't know if corp has to keep costs contained, or if its just me being old school- but I would prefer the actual problem get handled the first time. I just don't know where you find that these days. I'll keep calling & they'll keep coming I suppose."

"I lived here for over 5 years , the office staff never changed , great customer service from day one. Maintenance was excellent, little to no issues my whole stay. Would have stayed longer but had to downsize to a one bedroom, over all great places to live."
