"The Cotton Mill Lofts is a superb place to live. Not only is the location excellent, my experience was beyond any expectation that I had or could expect. Moving to a strange city alone in the midst of a pandemic is trauma in itself but the Management Team made my transition an incredible experience. Cable, electricity, water, and parking were already established by the Management Team before I even arrived and I was able to hit the ground running on my arrival day. The lofts are beautiful, high end, and well kept. When moving to VA from out of state, Fob key entrance with interior apartment doors provided safety in an unknown environment and I always felt safe and secure at Cotton Mill Lofts. Downtown and night life are in walking distance as well. Probably one of the biggest perks is their animal friendly policies which allowed me to have a companion after many years alone and that alone would be a reason to call Cotton Mill Lofts home. When having to move to another state, Gwyn once again made my transition easy. Thank you Gwyn and the entire team for making my time in Roanoke more than a stay but a home where I found comfort and joy. I will certainly miss living there!"

"I resided at Cotton Mill Lofts for almost 2 years and really enjoyed my experience living there. Both building managers I had the pleasure of interacting with were professional, quick, and accommodating of requests (i.e. I requested consideration of purchasing baby pools for dogs to play in and Gwyn had them in a few weeks). The building's common spaces are very clean and well-maintained, and all of the housekeeping and maintenance staff are kind and always willing to help. The units themselves are modern with a bit of charm from the original hardwood floors and exposed wood ceiling. The location, being so close to downtown but not in the middle of things, was wonderful. Very dog friendly and residents are respectful with their dogs. I moved away for a job, but would have gladly lived at the Cotton Mill Lofts for another few years if I had the chance."

"I cannot say enough praise for Cotton Mill Lofts. The manager, and her team is beyond attentive, kind, and helpful. The entire building which is nicer than most hotels I have stayed in is spotless. Maintenance request are attended to the same day. The units are spectacular with granite countertops, stainless steel appliance, hardwood or concrete floors. The lay out maximizes the space with plenty of storage. Piped music in the hallways to cut down on noise. Gym, common areas, mail center, convenient app for payments, good parking, great security and neighbors that care. Living here on the edge of downtown is a pleasure… and make sure you visit Food Fanatics across the street – their pizza Is a must."

"I have been a resident here for 4 months, and I am SO very glad a local pointed me in this direction!! The management and maintenance is SUPER responsive and nice. The apartments are GORGEOUS with exposed large wood beams and brick, as well as the original maple hard-wood floors. My neighbors are friendly and I feel safe here. And, after experiencing breed bias in other apartments I looked at, the only restriction here is that your dog is friendly/not aggressive. My dog and I go on lovely walks in the neighborhood as The Cotton Mill is right in the Old Southwest historic homes area, and downtown. I can't imagine a more perfect location for me here in Roanoke and HIGHLY recommend it."
