Quality Inn Roanoke Airport

"Horrible experience. for someone to gain access to your room while you away AND steal personal items is crazy got me thinking staff was involved. And also to find three "CRACK" PIPES STORED AWAY INSIDE THE IRONING BOARD LEGS.i don't feel safe at this hotel and would not recommend anyone to stay at this Quality inn hotel. I contact the front desk clerk about this issue and he telling me he don't have access to the cameras all front desk clerk should have immediate access to these security cameras so one can weed out the bad apples, which makes me think something is not right with the employees at this location. If you come across this review you been warned this is not a safe place to stay for there are frequent drug addicts in and out of these rooms possibly praying on you and your personal items while you are away."

"The lobby and breakfast area were very nice. Breakfast attendant was very nice and allowed us extra time to get breakfast. Our room was in the back of the building and it was hard to see the room numbers in the dark while trying to figure out where to park. Not a lot of lighting. Room was fairly clean except for something mysterious and brown on the wall beside the tp holder. The baseboards looked like some kind of foam rubber and was peeling away from the wall. Little cosmetic things that we can overlook. We had no washcloths and used hand towels to shower with. Bed was comfortable and no signs of bedbugs as we had the pleasure of bringing them home before so appreciated no carpet. The one chair in the room was questionable as it was very stained. It wasn’t bad for one night. Give breakfast and the staff we encountered 5 stars!!"

"Room 213 was okay, clean enough to sleep for one night. I'm not sure if it's worth $111 just to have a place to sleep and leave very early the next morning but that's inflation for you. What was severely disappointing is that the next morning there was no hot water in which to take a shower. When I went to the front desk to let them know and request a partial refund, the very elderly lady with blue and gray braids wrapped on top of her head told me that she's not authorized to give any refunds. I kindly asked her for the person who was authorized. She responded that they were not on site. I asked her for their contact information. Her response was to tell me to pick up a business card and pointed at an empty business card holder. When I told her that there were no business cards there, she got on the phone with someone else. I then pushed a pen towards her and asked her to write down her managers information. She gave me the name Amy Patel and I asked her for an email and phone number. The elderly woman responded that she didn't know the email and phone number and that she was in no way required to know this information. She got back on the phone with the woman she was talking to. In addition to there still being no hot water the phone to the front desk is also not working. I'm not sure if it's supposed to work however there is a phone here in order to call the front desk and information in which to do so. I would like a 50% refund thank you very much for my cold shower because I had no choice I have to go."

"So this hotel has been a major help to us even though we got married here as well it's clean and very comfortable The owner worked with us very well without any problems. Breakfast is hot and ready every morning from the hours of 69 is a great place coffee 24 hours or its a great place to bring family really haven't had no issues at all. I stay here a lot because it brings back memories of my marriage. They treat my 81 year old mother-in-law with the utmost respect and try to cater to her needs. So she won't have to do so much to get to breakfast instead of office. It's very quiet at night. I can't complain about nothing. Really. Except for sometimes they do have a lot of. Late night stragglers that want to hang out. But other than that is one of the best hotels and I will recommended to anyone affordable, nice and well respected."

"We stayed at this property for four nights. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was very clean. The breakfast was good. That’s where the good ends. On two of the four mornings the water was cold. We were told that they do not turn on the boiler until 7 AM. That made us late both mornings for our appointments. They have a lot of people that live there full-time. They congregate outside until quite late. This property needs a major remodel. They also need to leave the hot water on at all times."
