"Good hotel. Nice and clean. The front desk woke me up at 9pm to move my box truck because “it was taking up too many spots” but the parking lot was mostly empty. Didn’t seem necessary to wake me up and make me come downstairs. Very inconsiderate."
"Hotel is very nice. Updated modern look. However the walls and floors are paper thin. So if you want to hear your UPSTAIRS neighbor talk about what they want for dinner with their wife, I highly recommend something else."
"I recently stayed here with my wife and a couple of my siblings on our way to visit some friends in North Carolina. Everything was beautiful and clean (I even checked the air filters, and they were spotless). I love the soap dispensers they have, which are nifty and modern but also economical and functional. Everything worked as expected, including the mini fridge, and the beds were comfy, which was great, because we were all tired and had to get back on the road in the morning. Breakfast started at 6am, and it was delicious and filling. Check-in and check-out were easy and painless, and the location is really close to I-81, so it was easy to get to and easy to get back on the road with easy access to the rest of Roanoke (we had to grab some warmer clothes because we under-packed). Thanks, Tru for running a tight ship and cozy accommodations!"
"I was really impressed with this place! The hotel as a whole seems to be very compact, but it is so thoughtfully designed that it's very comfortable. The young lady who checked us in was kind and professional, and the lady that was managing breakfast was also very personable and making sure everything was covered! The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were SO soft! I will definitely choose Tru again! Great experience!"
"We needed a place to stay for a nearby event. I enjoy color versus most hotel drab. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great. It was quiet but we were on the top floor and our neighbors were respectful. We don't eat breakfast at hotels so can't comment on their options. Thought the pool table was cool!"
