Airport Inn Motel - Richmond

"Needed a affordable hotel and my husband and I were aware of this hotel because one night when I kicked him out and he stayed at here with no complaints. So we called it was late at night and he said he would wait for us to get here before he kinda packed it in for the night, which was a good sign of customer service! The rate was 80 a night for weekday, 90 weekends. The rooms are pretty basic design wise, meaning they don't have fancy art and quirky furniture. But! The carpet was not sticky. The room was noticably clean and smelled clean, it was even a smoking room but had no smoke smell. The beds and pillows were actually REALLY comfortable. Not so bumpy and tiny. The inside of the drawers were clean not stained and none of them stuck. No dust anywhere. Great water pressure in shower and really clean tub/shower. I will say they could update their shower heads but, there was no grime on the lines there. Just older. I'm of the belief though if it's not broke don't fix it. It worked beautifully. It was quite on s Friday and Saturday night. I couldn't hear anyone's TV and I had neighbors on both sides of me. The owners are the best thing about this hotel though. I can tell This is their baby and they take pride in it. They're friendly and kind, wonderful people. I will come back here any day any time."

"The last time we stayed at this motel it was covered in bedbugs and this time we thought we,would give them anotger try and was treated very rude bc instead of the manager telling us that they had no availabily he just sat there as we got dropped off there in Pouring down Rain w/me using a cane BC of total knee replacement a month ago so we stood at the door knocking until we saw this man and woman helping someone in a car and we ask if they was open BC no one answer us then they told us they had no availability for that weekend. Could they have told us before we got stranded at there motel that there was no availability? SMH. Its ashamed when people can treat the disabled with no respect at all. We have them 2 chances do anyone out there think this motel deserve a 3rd chance for our business. I don't think so. People should be treated with respect rather they r disabled or not the money is still green. Thank u."

"Very nice clean room with a nice bathroom. A quiet place. Close to all types of food... easy access to the interstate. I came for the Virginia gun rally and it was a perfect location with no traffic. You're passing through it's a good little place to stay. People who are complaining are probably the type the owners know will make a mess or destroy their property. So they felt need to give them the rules. They were polite and quick to get me checked in. No complaints I have a comfortable 2 nights stay. Two nights I paid $124 total"
