"Maybe staying during the week would be ok, but there is some kind of a night club across the street from the front of the hotel. Had the worst night trying to sleep with loud thumping music. Cut our stay short and moved hotels. If you stay here ask for a room on the back of the hotel and it might be ok."

"My husband stopped and stayed here while traveling and was not informed that they are undergoing renovations and do not offer breakfast OR COFFEE during this time. We were very disappointed in this kind of customer service from Marriott."

"Greetings, all ye weary business travelers! If you are looking for an awesome hotel with excellent food, a well stocked bar, comfortable seating areas inside and out and quiet, comfortable rooms, look no further. The Courtyard by Marriott Richmond is ideal for business travel as it is within easy reach of I-95, Richmond and Fort Gregg-Adams, but not in the heart of urban sprawl. The quality is high, but not free. Breakfast and Dinner menus are truly delicious, but not inclusive. The coffee is Starbucks, which is greatly appreciated, but also pay as you go. I would choose this hotel for business travel, but families with kiddos might want to look elsewhere to defray costs. Lastly, thanks to the entire staff during my two day visit. The food, drinks and customer service was top notch and greatly appreciated."

"My wife and I had an excellent time at the Courtyard. Excellent service, greetings with a smile, great location for us to travel back and forth. Very comfortable bed, great bathroom and good food. I would definitely stay there again."

"I had to leave Courtyard Marriott in Chester VA abruptly due to bedbugs and ant! The young man at the front desk was not helpful and did not help with trying to receive the same rate. He told me there were room at the residence inn. So I waited for him to do what he needed to do. After waiting 30 min i asked him how much longer would it take for him to get the room booked at residence inn and he said he wasn’t booking it and told me to just go to the residence inn that was 3 miles away and see what they can do but it would be a higher rate. I am extremely disappointed 1. He didn’t communicate that I needed to handle it myself and 2. Why am I paying a higher rated when there are bugs and i have to leave 11pm at night! He needs to be better educated on how to handle situations and communicate better with his customers! This is disgusting and I am extremely disappointed in Marriott!"
