Hampton Inn Chester

"I enjoy my stay hotel is under going repairs but it’s a decent place to stay, there breakfast food is amazing and they do cleanup daily. The front desk makes sure your visit is pleasant. They also keep fresh coffee by the desk 24/7 which is a plus."

"We arrived late last night and all the hotels were booked. So we got this place and it had one room available. So maybe it's bad for me to judge from one room. O well. The staff was very friendly and super nice. But we got to our room and it smells like mold. Like there was a flood in here before. I felt so gross sleeping here last night. Even the sheets and pillows didn't feel clean. The mattress was HORRIBLE. this is probably one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. The reason for the stars is the staff and availability. Something tells me. The other rooms are not this bad. I. Mean it's a Hampton! Not a motel 6. Its my fault tho cause for some reason Chesterfield was packed last night and I should have made a reservation. Won't happen again."

"Corporate needs to send somebody here to see what is not happening here. I read some critical reviews about this location but decided to book here anyway. (Everybody has ther own opinion). I'm very displeased with my choice. This is not what I expected from a Hampton Inn property at all. Given this an older property, this doesn't excuse the lack of attention to basic details. To be short and direct all I can say is the bed was made and the trash had been emptied. The humidifer in the hallway should of been a clue to what was going on behind the door to the room. The room (135) reeked of being soured or mildew coming from the carpet. There had to be an excess of moisture in the carpet, because after a few trips in the bathroom the tiled floor look like stampede of people had trekked throuhg the room. Once inside the bathroom you closed the door and multiple things become evident. The backside of the door is disgusting, stains around the perimeter of the floor, the bag hanging next to the shower ( I have no idea what's inside of it) was I hardly going to touch because it looked like had some very nasty material covering it. The last straw for me was the hair that is attach to the wallpaper in the bathroom."
