"Although we did enjoy our stay and our room was amazing, clean, and cozy. We did have a few hiccups, my fiancé and I decided to have a weekend get away in the area and thought this would be the perfect place. Our first encounter at the front desk was decent, as far as check ins go there was nothing out of the ordinary, even though the attendant stated our room number very loudly. Secondly the cord for the phone in our room seemed to be cut, I used my cell phone to call the front desk instead to inquire about a late checkout. The front desk attendant was nothing but rude and hung up on me before I could inform her about the phone cord. Since we got a late check out we decided to take full advantage of the indoor pool, im a water baby at heart so I was very excited to get in for a swim. The pool ended up being closed for the day due to scheduled cleaning but no signs were put up to inform patrons so we could go for a swim the night before instead. Overall a very clean hotel in a great location but hospitality is lacking."

"Rooms were okay. A new hotel so did not expect “issues”. However, cleaning is always a must and no one should find hair on bed or around the toilet. Bathrooms are also extremely small!!! Front desk staff is never around and the person named Michelle Alvey seems to be strung out on drugs. Constantly jittery and the attention span of a toddler. She could not give clear direction and her attempt to solve the matter was trying to distract us from the real issue of the room not being properly cleaned. Clearly she was not trained and there is no drug testing going on here! We travel a lot for business and expected a better experience from this brand & a member of management. Not everyone is suited for the hotel business and it clearly shows with Michelle. My husband and I will be speaking to his boss about finding another hotel in Richmond that can better accommodate the companies needs."

"Stayed overnight with the family and had a great time. The receptionists were friendly, rooms were clean, & the parking area was well-lit. In the morning after breakfast while checking out the supervisor gave us a few waters/cheese-its for our small children. This gesture meant a lot. Would definitely stay here again."

"We absolutely loved our stay here! We were in town visiting family. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and up to date. We will be definitely be coming back every time we come to visit the area. Keonna at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. She went out of her way to make our stay a pleasant experience."

"This was a great stay. I was visiting my daughter in town and decided to stay here. It is new and they take great care of the property. They are always cleaning the lobby and the parking lot. I loved having a microwave and full size refrigerator. The breakfast was also extremely nice and everyone of the staff members were friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and I especially liked the blackout blinds. Sofa also made out into a bed if needed. Added bonus- nice outside sitting area. Highly recommend."
