"The Hotel was great, unfortunately we were in a room that was connecting… the person staying in that room decided to keep television on a maximum volume for 4 hours, after contacting the main desk at 2 am they turned it down, only to turn it up again at 6 am…. Not a pleasant stay."

"Rooms were great, bathroom could have been cleaned better wall paper was peeling. Service was great, genuine vibes. I needed pliers and a hammer to fix my kids toy. They provided it with no Issues Location is great, driving distance of 24 hour CVS. Will be returning to this hotel for my family next stay"

"My son & I are staying in Richmond for a sporting event. We did NOT book at the discounted team hotel rate, so we’re paying full price 200+/night. I’m very disappointed. At 10pm our neighbors next door came home, waking us with their very loud conversations that took place well after 1am. My son discovered that there was a hole in the wall between the two rooms & he could actually look into our neighbor’s room. Then, at 7am when I attempted to shower there was NO HOT WATER in the building. The boiler was “out”. When I reached out to the front desk there was no ETA on when hot water might be available. I reached out through the app (as recommended by front desk staff) & “I’m sorry for your inconvenience” was my only response!!!! 100% unacceptable given the rates I’ve paid! The water unfortunately did not get fixed before we had to leave for the day. We left hotel to eat breakfast…. Because no hot water for shower = no hot water anywhere = no handwashing….. When we returned from breakfast we did switch rooms. Which was a pain but, at least we can’t see our neighbors. The “upgrade” was merely another room on the top floor without a hole in the wall. I will say that the front desk staff, seemed overwhelmed, likely because everyone complaining about the lack of hot water, were at least friendly. We had a very busy weekend planned & our only requirements for our stay = a quiet safe place to rest & a shower! Very disappointed & will never stay here again. Will ensure that our children’s teams will never again recommend this location."

"Third stay here and I'm finally posting to say how great this place is. Staff is friendly and highly competent and rooms are more than adequate with in-room and lobby coffee, powerful shower, and comfortable bed. Staff is what really makes it though--front desk, housekeeping and bar have all been just incredibly nice. I will return here any time I'm in the area."

"So this is a quiet hotel that shows its wear and tear. It was comfortable and there is plenty of parking. The hotel seemed to be at capacity based on the number of cars, but there was no wait for the elevators and no noise. Shower pressure was good and the water temp was perfect. A/C was a little loud, but held the room to a comfortable 72. I rated the service as a 5, but never really interacted with anyone from the hotel, as my reservation, my check-in, room key and check-out were all done through the Marriott app. This was really convenient since the front desk was busy when I got there. Highly recommend using the app."
