Her customer service skills are outstanding, she engages with each guest interested in their plans and finds from local markets and antique shops. Wendy's 3 course gourmet breakfast are delicious. The presentation of each dish should be a photo in a food magazine. After breakfast Wendy offers one of her heart felt poems, that extra treat you'll look forward too. Her home is lovely offering old world charm with private bathrooms. The claw foot tubs are perfect for soaking, unwinding from a day of exploring. When you enter the foyer you feel the energy of a happy home, welcoming guest. Wendy offers warm mulled cider afternoon and through the evening along with her homemade two bite desserts for her guest enjoyment throughout their stay. We especially enjoyed the Mexican chocolate fudge..yummy! Teddy, Wendy's awesome adorable dog will melt your heart, guarantee he will put a smile on your face."

"We stayed here 2 nights in the Garbo room. Wendy was our host and provided delicious 3 course breakfasts each morning. Each meal started with a mouth watering muffin followed by a fruit and then a main course. The house itself, built in 1909 was completely restored with lots of fine details. The front porch was large and inviting. We look forward to returning!"

"We spent 4 nights in the Garbo Room of Rose Hill. It's a wonderfully decorated property. The room accommodations were comfortable and clean. There are plenty of nearby restaurants for lunch or dinner and some are within walking distance. Wendy Blair, the property owner and hostess is very nice and friendly and she makes a wonderful breakfast. Every morning there was something different to tempt your taste buds. Her homemade muffins made with her own recipes are amazing. Each breakfast is 3 courses including a muffin, some fruit dish, and a main entree. She is very accommodating to specific food needs, likes, dislikes, and the time you'd like your breakfast served. If we pass through Roanoke again, we will be sure to pay her a visit and stay again."

"My husband and I stayed at the Rose Hill Bed & Breakfast and everything was perfect. Wendy’s breakfast in the morning was absolutely amazing - breakfast is served in an elegant dining room and included tea, coffee, juice, fresh baked muffins, fruit parfaits, toast, and the most DELICIOUS omelette. She also accommodated my gluten allergy and had special muffins, English muffins and granola for me We could not believe how spoiled we felt! She is an incredible cook and it was so wonderful that this breakfast was a part of our stay. The Inn is beautifully decorated and homey. It was a great choice to make memories here instead of staying at a hotel. Thank you Wendy!"

"Our visit was wonderful and restful. Wendy was very thoughtful and accommodating. Her cooking is excellent. And, she makes sure you do not have to lift a finger to do almost anything. The house is lovely as well. The rooms are comfortable and well decorated. There are a lot of little, unique decorations that add a pleasant, unique character to it. Wendy was kind and enjoyable to chat with, and Teddy (her dog) was a great companion and amusing to watch as he defended the property from cats (which I appreciate since I dislike cats almost as much as he does). We will come back again soon."
