Dollar General

"I emailed dollar general, and have gotten No response over this! I asked for a new receipt because the one given was blank! (Maybe no more ink?) they could not just hit “reprint” but instead, has to go get a manager, hold up a line, and take FOREVER just to reprint a receipt! Just for a receipt!!! Instead, they canceled everything and said it has to be rescanned because they can’t reprint receipts. What kind of cave man equipment is being used and why is security so bad that an employee needs a manager just to give a customer their receipt?? Oh, and NOt even be able to do…instead making the customer wait longer for something incredibly simple! I was so mad I left everything. Full basket and all! If the higher ups can’t help a business run smoother then this, they don’t deserve to be running. Now what “chain of command “ is pocketing so much money they can’t upgrade equipment for their stores? Mr Houston Akin must no longer be with the company, or is terribly too old to function."

"Been a faithful customer since they opened this store. It’s about 2 Blocks from my house and it’s almost always very clean and well stocked and the customer service is great! Glad they are there because it’s very convenient. Thanks Guys!"

"I go there because I can find items that I don't usually find in other stores. They are never too crowed. Always a pleasant and quiet environment, good prices. They also carry my favorite cookies. Worth the trip."

"I like this store 1,000% times better than the Dollar General on the corner of Mercury & Aberdeen. The staff are more friendly, its A LOT MORE clean and organized than that other store. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the shelves are so high and the store is cramped and they had boxes of products to stock so they had aisles blocked because the store is small. But other than that, because they keep the aisles organized and cleaned, I was very happy with this store and will be coming back more often!"

"Poor customer service by 1of the managers. I come in this store often, as it is my neighborhood store. The associate at the register was ringing up an elderly man and a line started to form. The shift manager comes to the front to assist the associate but instead of ringing my items up next (considering I had been waiting the longest) completely ignored me and rang up everyone else behind me. I'm big on customer service and because of this incident I will not spend anymore money here and will be contacting corporate. Family Dollar has better prices and products anyway!"
