"The office person is a Witch, she's jealous & lies about the Availability of Units. She said there was a wait list of 7 people before me, 2 days later The Website said there are 3 Units available with move in dates. When I called her, she said Don't pay attention to the website, that it's wrong. Then don't have a website if you can't do your job. You're the one who entered the information online not me. That's false advertising & she should lose her job for pulling a stunt like this. She should be reported for treating customers so rudely. And the Witch in the office is a liar so she doesn't need the owner to back up her story, he's never there anyway & since you have read other people's reviews they also said she lied to their faces just like she lied to me. Complete liar and daddy big shot doesn't need to answer any of these reviews to back up his office staff, they are all a bunch of Liars. I should report these nasty lying people to Apts. Com & the Better Bussiness Bureau, .Can't wait for Karma to get them , oh believe me. It will happen, it always does."

"Wish I could give no stars….Horrible place to live, I am so grateful we only signed a 6 month lease!!! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone…it was disgusting the first day we moved in. We sold our house in a day and was stuck moving here due to the fact they were the only place to have availability…that should have been my first sign! It was filthy inside and had a horrible horrible smell. We lived next to basically what sounded like an unsupervised indoor playground!! Constant screaming, jumping, stomping, crying…between kids yelling and the parents fighting with one another it was pure hell! All hours day and night….. Repeated complaints to management who basically did nothing, issue never got resolved for the whole time we lived there. No peace and certainly no quietness! We had no hot water on 4 different occasions two of those being weekends!! I cleaned the apartment better than I received it, pictures to verify this!! But still somehow they managed to keep part of my security deposit! How is that possible, other than the fact they keep part of your deposit to fix repairs for the complex like other people have stated!!! Just realize if you rent here they will be keeping part if not all your deposit!! This place needs investigated for this and reported. I have rented numerous times in my life and have always received my full security deposit back, this is the first time! !"

"We had placed our application on a 3 bdr townhome apartment here. We could not put down the 800$ deposit until we knew our home appraisal would go through. We spoke with manager (Wanda) on Monday to let her know we would know by Friday. She told us she’d let us know if there was any other interest. When we called back on Friday, she had given the apartment away that morning to someone else. We asked for our deposit back since she went back on her word but she did not give it back."

"My wife and I rented a two-bedroom condo at Sawgrass Howland Apartments from May 2015 to June 2016. Prior to signing the lease, the office was helpful, despite refusing to award a friend the promised credit for referring us (~$150). We still moved forward with the lease given the place's convenient location to accommodate both of our work commutes. When we received our keys, we noticed several deficiencies including: multiple cracks in the kitchen-area tile, a hole in a lower kitchen cupboard, tacks sticking up through the carpet due to improper installation, an extremely dirty microwave, the sliding glass door/windows/window sills were dirt-ridden and overall unclean. We accepted the condo with all of these blemishes and left the space much cleaner than when we arrived, and they still withheld $150 of our security deposit ($875) in order to "cover cleaning costs" of FIVE WINDOW PANES. They know that there is little recourse to argue their actions and they take advantage, so I feel that this is the least I could do to inform others. Good luck with your stay there. Overall apartment: 3-4 stars Landlord's interaction with tenants: 1 star"
