"I have only lived in these apartments a short time now and unfortunately have had several issues. When looking at this location in person while communicating with the staff I’d take one thing into account...that pretty much everything they say is untrue. We moved in during covid so we were unable to see the two bedroom apartment we wanted in person although we were given a virtual tour and for the most part seemed impressed. We asked if the apartment would be properly cleaned and sanitized.(Big spoiler it was filthy as could be with food stains dust and some thick black material that came off the bathroom door upon whipping your hand on it as well as a laundry list of unclean surfaces within the property). Although we were able to come to an agreement with the management we had to fight tooth and nail after being told we were wrong and that it was cleaned well even with picture proof. The most recent thing that really made me upset was when I received a text message at work from my girlfriend who is living with me that maintenance was opening the door while she was preparing to enter the shower...mind you we were absolutely told that if we requested maintenance that we would be notified 24 hours before they planned to come and fix whatever problems we had. After confronting the office they told us we were wrong and that these people could enter our apartment as they pleased without notifying us. It shows a lack of accountability and disrespect on the part of maintenance and the management. My only regret is signing a 12 month with people who act like high schoolers with a chip on their shoulder. If your reading this and thinking of living here do yourself a huge favor make it your last resort because I guarantee you that by the time your lease ends here you’ll hate it and I’ve been here for less than six months. And if your reading this from Simco please know that the management on site at northbury colony are rude, condescending, and disrespectful save for one individual. I hope going forward simco employs individuals with a sense of professionalism."

"I like it here. SIMCO is 100 times better than GMS Management could ever dream of being. The only downside is another rent hike that they say is "cost of living." The truth is they need better marketing. There are a large number of empty units so they are pushing their losses on loyal tenants. It's a nice place and a nice neighborhood. Get a better marketing team and you won't have all these empty units."

"The staff are rude, deceitful, and condescending. Repair requests go ignored if not openly ridiculed. The housing is put together like a teenager on his phone did it...half-arsed and haphazardly with a hint of not my job. Not enough parking which results in neighbor animosity. Now, it may just be my personal experience with one community under the company of Simco, but from the ratings and reviews I've seen online...I don't think I'm alone in my views."

"In March we will have been here a year. We love it. The staff is wonderful, the apartments are very nice. The new Windows and siding keep the drafts out. The place is very well maintained.The people around us are like family now. I would recommend northbury colony to everyone."

"We are renting a beautiful 2 bedroom townhouse! Simco takes good care of their property and, the landscape is very well taken care of! They are pet friendly; however, you can't tell by looking at the townhouse and grounds because of how well taken care of everything is!!!!!"
