"Excellent experience! I visited in June 2022 and loved it so much I had to come back the next year. The couple who run the place are very kind and helpful, and had great tips for things to do and places to visit. They really went above and beyond and made it a special and relaxing time. Definitely recommend visiting! The rooms are clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Cozy beds and generous breakfast (especially recommend the banana bread). The location is beautiful – super green with a pretty garden, and the Emily Dickinson museum is right across the street. There are excellent restaurants in the area (Anne from the Inn recommended Johnny’s, and I would too). It’s just a couple minutes’ walk from downtown Amherst in one direction, and in the other is a natural area where you can watch the fireflies at certain times of year. I had a wonderful time and hope to visit again soon!"

"Wonderful Victorian B&B. Not the most polished professionals, but if we wanted that we would have booked a hotel. They were lovely and warm, the room was amazing, and they took really good care of us. We had a very early morning and they actually got up with us at 4:30 to make sure we had everything we needed. We ended up in the Allen House, and were thrilled to encounter their gorgeous Inn cats."

"we booked this hotel on Booking, when we arrived, 8pm, with heavy raining outside, no one opened the door, called the number on the door, no one pickup, left messages, after a while, the owner called back, said no idea if there's a room available for us, even we've already booked successfully online. then , after 30 minutes she appeared. finally we got a room, that's the room you can see. all over dust and dirt, smell bad, the sheets are dirt, you can tell they are not fresh at all, pillows are smelly too, hard to breathe, but at such a raining night, we basically no where to go. oh, the bathroom, is as tiny as you can see in a small RV, the shower cannot be adjusted, and points to a strange direction, so you have to shower in a difficult position. terrible experience and sleepless night."

"Stayed hered for an evening on a girls' trip with my best friend. I had reserved a room with a queen and a twin. When I arrived, the innkeeper, Anne, told me she had 2 rooms, the original reserved room and an adorable suite with 2 twin beds up a windy staircase in an attic area with a few sitting areas. I chose the suite because it was SO adorable and perfect for my friend and I. How wonderful to be presented an option! There was a fan in my room which was fabulous because I sleep with a fan normally for white noise. The bed was perfect and super comfortable. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. Checkout was easy. Parking close and location was excellent. Quiet yet a block away from everything and across the street from the Emily Dickinson house and museum."
