"TLDR: They don't answer phones so don't expect to have anything resolved in a timely manner if using a phone. I was declined for an apartment on 18 November. That I can live with but it is now currently 11 December and they absolutely refuse to return my security deposit. According to Virginia statutes they had until 8 December to return me my money and now they are playing games and telling me that I have to wait until the property manager is available on Wednesday the 13th. Update: today is December 21st and still no check. They claim it was sent to my old address, yet after several unanswered or returned calls from me that would have resolved this matter they are placing the blame on me for not providing them with an updated forwarding address. After receiving an email on 12/12 with my correct address they sent an email on 12/21 with a screen shot of my old address. They still won’t answer phones or return calls. They also charge $10 more for the application than Virginia laws allow. Don’t give these people a deposit until you’ve been approved. Otherwise you’ll be waiting an eternity for them to get back to you with the wrong information even when updated. Update: They did finally send my money back. This company as a whole needs to learn how to operate a telephone and a computer. I was asked to remove my negative review upon receiving my check. It took 35 days for them to return my deposit. Maybe instead of hiring people with college degrees you should focus on people who know how to operate a telephone or email."

"Place seems to be headed in the right direction, was actually not going to renew my lease but met the new management and had a discussion and very nice and welcoming with definite change I can see already with maintenance and how tickets are handled. Great turn around!"

"JUST FRUSTRATED!! My move-in date per the lease agreement was 01/14 and I was shocked to see the leasing office locked and no one answered my phone calls. I did not receive any communications that the apartment will not be available today so that I could have planned something else. I drove all the way from Florida for this move and very much frustrated with this type of attitude"

"Beyond unprofessional. They took my drivers license for a tour and upon conclusion the guide forgot to give it back. Went back the following day according to their posted hours and have been waiting over 3 hours during that time frame and unable to get ahold of ANYONE who can assist. The tour itself was horrible too, asking to see an apartment was a huge inconvenience to them apparently. If they weren’t going to abide by their hours they could at least take it off their posted leasing hours sign."

"We have had a fire alarm going off randomly for more than 6 months. We are talking super loud siren within the building going off for sustained 3 hour or longer periods. This is likely a building hazard as now our building fire alarm is nothing but a false alarm. People could die because they don’t even know when a real fire is occurring. There are random AC units on the grass between apartment buildings and it seems the management has no intention of removing them. Some buildings have random doors unlocked be it the utility closet or the patio ac unit door. This all started happening after moving in and they increased the rent because apparently these are upgrades. Any homeless person or attacker could easily hide in one of these unsecured locations but management doesn’t care one bit. Couple this with them trying to add towing and having obnoxious rules related to the parking pass, as if they were the DMV. These people don’t care and they also never answer the office phone unless its a sales call. Once you sign the contract you’re nothing to them. They will not respond to you when you live here. Update 06-04-22 They have left that here for over a month now. Bet the rent is increasing."
