Days Inn by Wyndham Manassas

"Absolutely the worst, most despicable brand name motel I've ever stayed at. For Wyndham to allow this property to be allowed to market under their umbrella name amazes me. As a franchise owner myself, (Different industry) the parent franchisor wants certain standards to be adhered to so customers can expect quality standards no matter where they stay in the Wyndham brands system (Ramada, Travelodge, Wyndham Howard Johnson, Super 8, La Quinta, Days Inn, etc). Tiny TV… Maybe 30" & 15' from the bed, didn't work correctly… cable issue channels all snowy. Asked for a handicap accesible room (Knee replacement… put me in a regular room. asked to be near elevator... turns out property didn't have an elevator. Reservations said would note handicap accessible room and near elevator. Not & not! Front desk manager was beyond rude and pretty much accuses me of not needing an accessible room… "How did you walk up the stairs without help" (Used handrail). In that I got to the hotel at night I had to stay there overnight. When I searched for another hotel the next day I was given the impression that this Days Inn by Wyndham was a pay by the hour type establishment if you know what I mean? Anyway waiting to see if Wyndham corporate responds to my comments."

"We had much difficulty checking in without much sympathy from the desk clerk. The bathroom was lackluster and had a used toilet paper role left in the holder. The sheets and pillow cases had horrible stains. Lastly , there was a no smoking sign on the door but you could still smell smoke in the room and through the halls."

"This is a place of convenience I can imagine. I would probably avoid booking this hotel indefinitely. I have a 3rd floor room by the elevator. There is never a time where some noise isn't filtering into the room. Between the 24 hour traffic on the road and the noise from some mechanism in the walls constantly going off. I was only sleep on exhausted and not from peace and tranquility. The breakfast is do it yourself with limited options. The customer service wasn't bad worthy of 3 stars as the cleaning ladies are responsive and amenities that I used were functional and accessible. If you had to same day book or next day book I'd avoid this one as price to quality to me is low."

"Very sketchy, lots of people on drugs walking around and going in and out of the hotel. Beds were lumpy as well as the pillows. Bathroom had mold and bugs. The front desk staff were amazing. Air conditioner was extremely loud, remote batteries were super low. Vending machines were empty after 1 day of being there and we're not restocked. Their free breakfast was juice and coffee. Not a good place to bring kids."

"The young woman checking us in was the ONLY positive to our experience here. I have to add something very important about traveling and ratings. Many people would overlook, the tiredness and unkept properties of many of their stays IF a SMILE is added to your stay!! The man at the counter this morning was the most negative of the hotel. Not welcoming,no smile, no good morning, no how was your stay. NOTHING. THE bed was comfortable but sounded like gas when you sat down or rolled over in it. The bathroom is very tired with huge patches of putty trying to cover up the holes.( no painting over it either.) If you need a One night stay. Its "okay" but you get nothing but your bed."
