The Broadmoor Apartments

"I lived here during the very beginning of the pandemic. It was the longest year of my life. The apartment itself is fine, high ceilings, central air, endless hot water...those are my Pros. Residents have no respect for their homes. Litter everywhere! The tiny dumpster is so far from the actual complex and full all the time. Most just tossed garbage in the general direction which lead to more rodents, stray kittens, and bugs. The outlets were flimsy and inconvenient. 1 in the living room and 1 in the master bedroom! You're going to need extension cords and surge protectors. Trusting people who can't take their trash out to follow instructions for cord usage is worrisome. It's beyond pet unfriendly here. Pet fees are astronomical which makes you think they are safe, right? Nope. None of the residents clean up behind their dogs. I don't think I saw one person do it. The backyard would be amazing for dogs to play in but it is swarming w/ mosquitos, spiders, fleas, ticks, etc. and feces. My dog got a (very expensive) parasite. No pet stations or accountability. The surrounding neighborhood was covered in broken glass shards and trash resulting in more vet bills from paw injuries during walks. The worst part were neighbors who constantly made myself and gf feel unwelcome. Mean white girls transferring problems by mocking strangers. 90% of them "work from home"... There is definitely a service operating out of there. No one seems to care. I reported this activity after safety concerns for myself and gf (nonresidents in and out the back stairs 24/7, taking good parking spots, dealing product in the lot, loud frat boys, arguments, flashlights shining, constant whistling by scummy Tom Cruise for signalling) and got no help. I support workers but I also support kindness to others which we were not shown. Located across the street from Central High stadium. The marching band rehearses constantly and begins around 7:30am. Loud games every night. Kids wandering around constantly, not sharing. I am 5 foot 4. The high ceilings meant if a lightbulb went out...I was out of luck. No laundromat nearby and delivery drivers can not seem to ever find this place or deliver your stuff to the correct address. Needs better address markers. Saw a man fire a gun into the air 5 feet from me on the 4th of July. My car was vandalized twice and cameras in parking lot aren't plugged in to anything. Beware the hidden "monthly utility reimbursement fee" of like $80. Plus outrageous $20 extra to pay by card. In 2021, a Venmo equivalent should exist. Credit card fees can not be that high for Management That Cares. Find a new processing company instead of punishing residents. Jordan out."
