"Things I liked about this Hotel: 1- It is in good location. 2- Duckshows. 3- The hotel is unique and one of the oldest hotels. 4- Service was excellent (I forgot my wallet in the room, they never touched it) 5- Hall chairs with gift shops and the restaurant and bar. Things I didn’t like about this Hotel: 1- Tiny rooms. 2- Really bad old carpets. 3- Worst elevator ( we were on floor 9 and every time we would wait about 10 minutes for an elevator)."

"Excellent staff; superb hospitality, but it doesn't make up for a very tired old property. Just outside of our room were a collection of very loud and nearly continuously running roof-top AC units. Funny that the porter told us it was one of the quietest rooms in the hotel.. lol. If true, I can only image what the others must be like. Busted floor tiles, shabby paint, well... what can one say? You expect that in an older property things aren't going to be perfect, but this one just seemed like it was somewhat neglected. At least our room did. TV didn't work and neither did the phone. Going down 8 floors at 10:00 at night for help wasn't in my playbook so I reached out through text and never got a response. Whatever. The golf-ball-sized, way over-cooked tenderloin was a huge disappointment too. Rare-plus shouldn't be done all the way through. Forty bucks? Next morning waited nearly 30 minutes for the valet to bring our car, so it pretty much just capped off the entire stay. We were really looking forward to our stay, unfortunately, it was far below expectations. In all fairness, I'm sure we could go back another time and have a completely satisfying experience, but for what we spent on everything, it isn't worth a re-do in our opinion. Sorry, just telling it like it is."

"My wife wanted to see the famous Peabody ducks. We went for the parade. They do a great job for this event. It's a great time. The ducks even stop and give you photo ops. It's funny."

"I usually love sitting in the lobby and enjoying a cocktail with dessert. Last night was terrible with a noisy international party upstairs in the lobby balcony room. The sound was so loud that you couldn't hear the piano in the lobby and it was truly unnerving. We asked the desk to shut the doors to the party or ask them to turn down the music. Nothing was done and our $40 dessert was ruined!"

"Did not meet my expectations. Rooms were outdated. The sheets looked dirty, as did the pillowcases (I hope it was just stains). There was also a big makeup splotch on the shower curtain. Bathroom was tiny as was the sink. Everything felt very old. Service was good, but the elevator situation was a nightmare. Trying to get to the lobby by checkout time to leave is awful because checkout is the same time as the first duck march. Everyone is trying to get down there, they have one elevator closed off, and you'll wait at least ten minutes to get one down. We ended up lugging our stuff down the stairs. We also stayed at Arrive just down the street for a few days and MUCH preferred that hotel (prices were way better too). The ducks are cool, but come for a drink and a visit...that's it. No need to shell out all the $$."
