"Beyond disappointed with our experience here. The myriad issues are described below: 1) Upon our arrival, the entire drop-off area for parking during check-in was blocked off for a bus sitting there apparently waiting for an NBA team. This bus remained there for an hour and maybe two people got on it before it departed. 2) Checking in at 5:05 p.m. with a prepaid reservation for a king room, I was told that our room was not ready and they would text me when it was. After parking the car in the garage across the street, we waited 45 minutes before asking what was going on. We were then offered a room with 2 queen beds instead and took it because we were tired of waiting. As a result, my wife and I were forced to alter our plans for the evening, effectively ruining our one-night trip to Memphis. *Never* in my decades of traveling have I ever seen a hotel that did not have a room ready for a prepaid reservation after the posted check-in time. 3) The room we were given was directly above the lobby, from which we could somehow hear loud noise fairly late into the evening. 4) At random intervals (odd since it was set on neither heating nor cooling mode, just the fan), the thermostat would increase substantially in brightness. This was especially noticeable in the dark when trying to sleep. 5) Worse, the lights beneath the beds that turned on as you stepped on the floor were a complete nuisance. I suppose if I was by myself in a hotel room it would be a useful feature to avoid stumbling around in the dark, but in our case it served only to wake both of us up in the middle of the night any time either of us needed to walk to the restroom. The bed was very comfortable, so sure, I'll give it two stars instead of one. But this was without a doubt one of the most negatively impactful hotel experiences I've ever had. Do better, Hyatt."

"Parking options were not good. First time I stayed here it was very clean and service was great. Second and most recent time the room was not clean and service was not great. Location to Beale street is great"

"Nice hotel conveniently located near Beale Street and Memphis Tennessee. Rooms are very clean. Location cannot be beat. The hotel is new. The rooms are fairly sized and well equipped. The bed is very comfortable. The Riverview is nice but not worth a paid upgrade."

"I stayed here for my birthday weekend & absolutely loved it!! We originally got a regular room, but decided to upgrade to river view. The front desk worker upgraded us with no problem!! We enjoyed the rooftop bar & restaurant. Our original plan was to go out on Beale Street, but the ambiance of the hotel was so nice, it turned into a staycation!!! Def 5 Stars!!! very clean!!!"

"In all the hotel and location would be an easy 5, but the service is lacking for a Hyatt brand hotel. The valet parking is anything but convenient. Requested the car and was told it would be ready in 6 minutes and to be in the lobby ready to go. Arrived and waited another 15 minutes for the car. Use the self-parking across the street as is it faster and more convenient."
