The Westin Memphis Beale Street

"We had a three night stay here for a Grizzlies game. The location is directly across the street from the FedEx Forum and less than a block to Beale Street. The room was clean and very spacious for a standard hotel room. We had an issue with the AC the night we checked in. I called the front desk and they gave us the option of moving rooms or sending maintenance. Maintenance was literally there less than 5 minutes and our issue was fixed in less than 20! The staff is very friendly and professional! Shout out to the valet team and special shout out to Nemo! We appreciate everyone’s hospitality and can’t wait to come back!"

"This hotel is in a great location. It is across the street from the FedEx Forum and around the corner from Beale Street. Our room looked on to Beale, but music never bothered us. The only negative I had was one elevator was not working and the hotel was packed. It was hard to get up or down floors."

"1. Suggesting more valet staff could improve efficiency and better customer experience. Valet staff very nice and kind. 2. Housekeeping needs improvement as there was an absence of bath towels and body wash in arm 504 3. Proposing hotel upgrades their hairdryers to more powerful ones as it takes a long time to dry your hair. 4. Highlighting the need for better staffing and punctuality in the restaurant for smoother operations as the cook didn’t show up til 640 when the restaurant opens at 630. 5. Recommending larger wine pours at the bar for a more satisfying customer experience. 6. For a brand like the Westin, I would’ve expected the rooms be remodeled especially in the bathrooms, to bring them up to a more modern standard. 7. leaking issue in room 501/ 601 is a concern that may need attention to prevent future incidents and mold growth. 8. Witnessed drug deals going on right outside hotel window. When sharing my experience with the hotel staff they comped me 10k points but not nearly enough to what I would have expected."

"5 star service all the way. Security is visible at all times. Clean, well stocked rooms with mini bar. Refrigerator and microwave as well as safe. Walk in shower with accessories for the body. The room amenities are awesome also. Fast wife and direct plug-in cables for laptops. Parking is $ 30 for 24 hours and was plentiful. There are free street parking spaces, but I would advise against it as there are crimes and criminals in the area of downtown Memphis. Overall, I am pleased with the location and type of room I received. If you are looking for a hotel with all the bells and whistles, then this would be your choice. The elevator requires a key card to go to your floor, and the price of the hotel is in portion with the service and top-notch accommodation."
